Do battery cars have a greater tendency to catch fire than petroleum cars ?

Not really...if they weren't behind the wheel...that's completely their fault. Current roll out of Tesla's autopilot requires a driver to be present behind the wheel, paying attention, and be ready to take over at any time.
Still...RIP Elon Musk

At worst...news like these may cause some minor fluctuations in stock prices. Looking at the big picture...where EVs stand compared to ICE cars...and how much of a lead Tesla has over other car manufacturers rn...
...Tesla would be just fine.

Don’t believe 100% what’s written in the company manuals! The USA of today isn’t what was 50 years back as far as the company culture or morality is concerned.....

there will not be a true driverless car for at least next 100 years, fools who believe Elon will bring one for them should buy one and go on a road trip.

Still...RIP Elon Musk

Nope.
