2 IAF Hawks collided mid-air during a spin manoeuvre. Details awaited on the pilots

How did they eject from a collision very weird

Have seen them perform just a week back, doing this very maneuver in a 9 aircraft formation in Assam. Excellent performance.

Guess one of those days when things do tend to go wrong.

Thanks to the members here for being gracious in recognizing the difficulty that any display team faces.

Those who can not appreciate what it takes to fly the routine day in and day out, can ... be themselves.

How did they eject from a collision very weird

The ejection took place just as soon as the tail of the lower aircraft was hit by the nose of the inverted one, since the video is in slow motion.

do you really believe that? or you are "just saying"...if thats true what prevents PAF to gain air superiority at this exact moment?...when IAF squadrons are lowest in history...
indian military with no balls to attack is preventing us from showing those skills again.

.
pilots have safely ejected...

for those wondering how come Indian armed forces lose so many soldiers and aircrafts...

The deceased pilot is Wg Cdr Sahil Gandhi, who flew as Surya Kiran 7. The other two pilots, team 2IC Wg Cdr Vijay Shelke and Sqn Ldr Tejeshwar Singh are injured.

Rest in peace for the deceased pilot. The Hawk 100 is a very reliable aircraft. But this profession can be very unforgiving. All senior and seasoned pilots. The reaction time to eject must have been very quick. Saw a video of one of the pilots lying on the ground. Hope they're fine. As an aviator one feels a special bond regardless of which side they fly for.

Indian plots/military aren't well trained, or well paid, Indians should just stick to open defecating, rape, cheating and beating their chest about how great, wonderful, clean, and safe India is.

It is pretty hard to eject when you don't even know which way is up since the planes were doing fast flips after collision.
