19th SAARC Conference in Islamabad 2016-News and Updates

Bangladesh is basically India's puppet. So no surprises there...Afganistan is Afganistan....

There is nothing called humanity nor ahsaan in international politics bade bhai.
Pehle to Pakistan does not hold influence on these nations. You had a chance but your foreign office (i mean it not out of any animosity) fcked up big time. I have no idea though how do you hire people in your foreign office.(i really want to know cuz your foreign policies are outright idiotic. again not saying it with arrogance or animosity)

Secondly, India will press for its own interest even if it is helping other states. International politics is based on give and take. If we would give them access to sats and other tech we would want something in return. There are no free lunches. Same goes for BD and SL and AF, they want infra from India, they will have to stand upto India's aspirations too. Hence these are called bilateral relations. while in case of Pakistan it has more to do with paranoia via India. For Pakistan everything is neferious design (though some really are). This is all because of the political atmosphere of Pakistan which has only one unity point - INDIA. Nothing unites Pakistan apart from INDIA. but this has made whole country delusional of a boogeyman which is going to come to get their kitty..

Well about the hiring subject, yes sometimes we do hire people like idiot HH but looking at India, we still haven't elected someone like NaMO so we are still behind.

Nothing like free lunch so that is for all from our side as well. Rest of the points in your post, I think you mean India and due to typo, you mentioned Pakistan as what your media and Modi says mostly now a days. If you really want to learn or share something hete, you need to be a bit biased that too for patriotism only and not to be like Arnab. Whatever you mention about Pakistan is no different than what every media lover from India does and we also watch TV though we have our number as well.

It was NaMO that won elections on anti-Pakistan agenda and none did in Pakistan for votes otherwise prove it rather baselessly claimed. We can understand the humanity of Indian Government that has a PM like NaMO who is famous for Gujrat and was banned to travel to US till PM and still killing mote in Kashmir for mere political gain that people like RSS have support for him and he is afraid too.

Just for peace out that too at this time of night, I am not agree with you and you are at liberty to do the same as well however, refrain from baseless claims and blames for mere defamation of Pakistan or Pakistanis or any other Nation at PDF as well as use of abusive language and trolling would result into banning. Still a friendly advice, read forum rules and follow and by any chance, a post skipped, doesn't meant to be taken as granted.

SAARC ain't anything.
I'm more interested to see what happens on Indus Water Treaty front.
I don't have data of trade between Pakistan and SAARC nations (minus India), but have a feeling it isn't much. So such kind of diplomatic steps won't be of much consequence.

True. Progress on trade between SAARC nations minus Pakistan, Afghanistan & Maldives has already shifted to other groups.

Nopes, do we need to. we just have to "push".

We have seen history of Pakistan. When the days are dark, you people eat your own people. We just have to make sure that days are dark, rest you guys will do for us.

While in India's history, even Golden Temple is not safe.

After the reasonably self-satisfying oratory victories at the UN General Assembly, the support of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Bhutan to India's boycott of the upcoming SAARC summit to be hosted by Islamabad is celebrated as a major victory in the campaign to isolate Pakistan.

Unfortunately, in real terms it's not a even minor victory. In fact, it's no victory at all.

There are two reasons for this: one, SAARC is a fallacy, an absolute vestige to perpetuate the memory of the British Raj, that has provided no value to India or the region and; two, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Bhutan eat out of India's hands and if they don't stand up for India even without being prodded, there is something seriously wrong with our external relations.

However, despite SAARC's utter uselessness, the boycott would have made some sense had the countries that supported India been Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka. India had invested heavily in these countries as well - particularly Nepal whose very survival had been linked to India. Unfortunately, all the three, even after enjoying years of bilateral generosity, have given up India for China.

They make up a tiny number, and out of a country of 200 million, that's nothing.

Why did you bring this in for?

Pakistanis never acknowledge their countrymen wanting to get assylum in foreign countries
it is always afghans in pakistani passports or bangladeshi illegals living in pakistan

what makes you think Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives want to stand with Pakistan ? For Nepal and Maldives it makes no sense. Sri Lanka might try to play a neutral role.

Like u r living in golden era 32% Indian homes don't have washrooms , people are popping in open . If these are golden days then we are better in dark

God is not in a temple. God is everywhere. if the terrorists are sitting inside a temple believing god will save them, no one is a bigger fool.

However the operation could have been handled better and could have been done in a much more docile manner. But sh!t happens. one must learn to move on in the same way, 17 of my family members were martyred during partition by Pakistanis.

Yes indeed these dark days, because when people defalcate and pee in open, all these rivers flow down to Pakistan, and Pakistanis have to drink the same water.

Afghanistan should be declared a hostile country and refugees be treated as a security risk. Should be arrested and put in camps. Diplomatic missions should be pulled from Kabul.

If Pakistan followed foreign policy norms of other countries they would reciprocate such hostility. It has been decided Afghanistan is an enemy of the state.

Such steps are destroying regional integrity.

It seems India does not want small South Asian countries to have a strong linkage

India is already acting as a vehicle to integrate all countries in SAARC except Pakistan.

where did we say we are going to stop pakistan's water?
we just said we will use our share of water.
Then we said we will not let you check if we are stopping your water. (suspending the commission)

We never said we will stop your water.

And what's this I hear that 10 Sikhs took on 1,000,000,000,000,000 Pashtuns and prevailed? You know Battle of Saraghari? All I know is 100 Gurkhas took on 10,000 Sikhs in1919 in Amritsar and Gurkha's made a name for themselves?
