There was another incident in the 1971 war where a PAF AD controller was able to force an ejection of an IAF aircraft making false intercept calls (knowing IAF would be listening in) and guiding two imaginary Sabre to vector towards the IAF jet, which then crashed when the pilot panicked and crashed. There was not a single PAF jet in the vicinity. I will post the story here from the book.

In the corporate world, people are evaluated on the outcome rather than their presumed capabilities. Reading most of the comments here in PDF, you would assume that the Pakistani Armed forces are one of the best capable force in the world if not the best. But i just wonder whether Pakistanis ever evaluated outcome of any of Pakistani Armed forces action.

Reading the comments above, you would feel that IAF is a bunch of idiots, PAF can destroy them at their will. Just that PAF decided not to do that in the last 4 wars was a sign of largeheartness by PAF

Wonderful and kind words by you. Pl. leave these Pakistan Air Force fiction works for them to enjoy.

The last time a Pakistani Military plane was shot down , killing 16 officers and other ranks , there were only silence and the sounds of crickets for 19 years.

Since Feb 27 , this forum has echoed with such sounds and roars, as if to make up for the 2 decades of shame and embarrassing silence.

I hope you especially enjoyed the stories of M igs ejecting in srinagar.

If the people who shot down the Navy Atlantique are Phattus , what does it say about the people who could not do anything about it for 2 decades ?
Except complain in court. Lost even there.

So If someone shootsdown an unarmed plane the other party should shoot their unarmed plane in retaliation. Good thinking.

By the way both US and Russian recon planes go regularly into others territory and are just chased out not shot down. It just shows the itchy fingers of your forces who buckle in pressure just like in recent MI 17 fiasco.

Shoot any thing you want. Fighters , tankers, choppers, whatever.

But what actually happened ? NADA.

if Abhi did not take the fight across the LOC , perhaps another 19 years would have passed with no reaction from you or your PAF. 16 deaths unanswered. Till today.

Change my mind.
