a few months ago i watched a video on YT of a presentation by 2 people one from Pakistan occupied Kashmir and other from J&K, Srinagar in US, some Policy research Institute. The person from J&K went to US for the presentation and the person representing so called "Azad" Kashmir was a US citizen, a Technocrat.

Interestingly, I was expecting a India Bashing, India not being reasonable type presentation from both the guys but i Kid you not, The guy representing AJK started out like this "Azad means Free, hence AJK means "Free Kashimir" in local Language and AJK is anything but Azad. The name was chosen to accentuate Pakistani case of Freeing kashmir from India(both for Islamic world and rest of world)" And he spoke about how easy it is for Pakistan based Terrorist groups to create a small time incident and cause deaths on the sides of regular stone pelter type youths and IA so that the Kashmirs keep accusing security forces about Human Rights Violations.
The guy representing J&K state, surprisingly talked about Economic boom and reality boom in Srinagar in spite of persisting threat of violence between Islamists and separatists and security personnel.
