Pakistan did not surrender in 1965. It was Indian troops' fashion to surrender in Indo-Pak conflicts until the tragedy of 1971
Every India-Pak military conflict has included POWs from both sides, that does not mean India and Pakistan surrendered to each other.

But if you wish to equate capture of a POW with unconditional official surrender to assuage 1971 humiliation, feel free to do so

Ok for someone who dsnt understand.
The war dint stop, when the few Indian soldiers surrendered.
And war stopped when the Pakistani soldiers surrendered, that means the whole army gave up.
Hope that helps.

He is unable to parse the meaning and significance of official unconditional surrender.

Going by his logic Axis powers are victorious in WW2 because there were several allied POWs

It was fashionable when few troops surrender and not the whole army and nation, but you guys made it out of fashion by surrendering the whole armed forces.

Hi
I wanted to remind you about PAF that had chased after 5 indian air crafts in a dog fight and all five were taken down by MMAlam and another time when the Indians where informed of PAF coming to attack india sent in planes but the pilots where so afraid that they threw there bombs in india there own country and came back to india saying they had hit pakistan
Please correct me if any mistake because i was born in 2002 lol
Thanks

If thats dsnt hurt you ego,you can believe that.but can you show some document where IA sighned a surrender.I can show you Pakistan Army penning a total surrender.

1965 was last time when pak army had any edge (qualitatively) over India but still India made a joke out of US Pattons and demolished the myth of the superiority of US weapons when the world seen the site of Asal Uttar and Phillora.

And one more thing MOD recently released new pics of 1965 war in which POWs Pak commissioned officers are shown tied down and barefeet.
