19 injured, four critical in Quetta rally bomb blast
MONITORING DESKKARACHI (updated on: July 28, 2006, 16:51 PST): A powerful motorcycle bomb blast in Muttahida Majils-e-Amal (MMA) protest rally injured nineteen people, and damaged nearby building of Allied Bank of Pakistan at Chaman Phatak area in Quetta, report said on Friday.

According to Aaj TV channel report powerful bomb blast ripped off in a demonstration organised by six-party religious alliance MMA against US policies and Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

"Bomb was planted in a motorcycle," said the police.

Report said "Nineteen people are injured in the blast, while four of them are said to be in critical condition.".

Injured were shifted to Combined Military Hospital Quetta.

Officials have tightened the security after the incident.

100% correct. They are penetrating from afghanistan where indian lobby and CIA is supporting them. bughtis are nothing wothout their support.

Iran can train its own terrorists very well, thank you. And the idea of America letting anybody, including India, train terrorists in Afghanistan is a crude joke.

after nothern allience won the battle in afghanistan with usa help then they were suporting indians and indian agencies...

and the arms coming to the balochistan are coming from afghanistan...and india always wants to destabalise pakistan specially pakistani economy

in near future GWADAR will be a metropoliton city....and india the the help of NAWAB bughti wants to stop investment there in gwadar...and restricting pakistani economy..

Why should Pakistan complain about India having several consulates in Afghanistan?

They are two sovereign states. India currently has an extensive diplomatic presence in Afghanistan. It includes the Indian embassy in Kabul and another four consulates in Kandahar, Jalalabad, Mazar-e-Sharif and Herat. These Indian diplomatic missions serve as launching pads for undertaking covert operations against Pakistan, from Afghan soil.

Particularly, the Indian consulates in Kandahar and Jalalabad and their embassy in Kabul are used for clandestine activities inside Pakistan in general and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Baluchistan in particular.

Indian diplomatic and RAW officials have significant ingress in the Afghan ministry of tribal affairs, and are exploiting it to conduct covert activities. Indian agents are instrumental in arranging meetings of tribal elders and Afghans with dual nationalities with Indian consulate officials in Jalalabad, and assisting them in spotting and recruiting suitable tribal elders from Jalalabad and Pakistan's North and South Waziristan Agencies for covert activities

RAW has established its training camps in Afghanistan in collaboration with the Northern Alliance remnants. Approximately 600 ferraris, or Baluchi tribal dissidents, are getting specialized training to handle explosives, engineer bomb blasts, and use sophisticated weapons in these camps

In January 2005, the Intelligence Services of Pakistan (ISI) submitted a report to Pakistani high officials where ISI claimed that the Indian secret agency RAW was behind the current anarchy in Balochistan. RAW has set up a "Special Operations Division (SOD)" in Balochistan that was assigned the task of creating troubles for the Chinese engineers who were kidnapped and murdered. Report also said that the SOD was providing weapons to Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), these weapons are smuggled from Afghanistan into Balochistan.

Next day after the Mumbai bomb blasts, (July 12, 2006), the General Secretary of so-called formed Government of Balochistan (GOB) in Exile, Mir Azaad Khan Baloch, sent his condolences to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the incident. In the statement GOB (Exile) condemned the Pakistani ISI for the terrorist attacks in Mumbai and offered cooperation with the Indian authorities in hunting the culprits.
