Can't understand the negativity and condescension towards Bangladesh and it's developments, Especially by the likes of @Nilgiri and @alaungphaya , Posters i hold in very high regard in this forum ,Which is very rare for me believe me
C'mon mates, Any country has the potential to draw tourists if it does the job right, Bangladesh too have it's pro's a rich history, Culture, Archaeological sites and beautiful scenery.. Sure it's not on the tourism map as of now but if they keep developing at the pace they're now and infrastructure grows they could be
Political stability is paramount for tourism and also a relative open society, If they can have both of these to a decade and a half i'm sure they will have a selling point, Especially to the massive newly rich Indian upper middle class, Who are looking at alternatives to domestic tourism
Burma attracted some 4.8 million tourists annually since they opened up merely three years ago, So there is huge potential for Bangladesh to tap in to if they get the right policies
You don't have them as neighbours . I wish the good people there/from there the best....but there are many @#$%@'s too...and they are often represented on this forum a lot (and such views by general ok members now and then too)....so I guess I have hardened towards Bangladesh as whole in this forum at least....(RL unchanged)....and then there is often a domino effect on both sides. It happens to many of us I guess.
