15 Jordanian F-16 for sale

Hi,

And as they have been flying over the ocean----they are prone to salt / sea air damage.
Sir Ji .....Pakistan already talking to some undisclosed European country for F16....Love of F16 will never end. Its not just 15, it seems almost 30 or 40 , if all deals go through. European one are much better then Jordanian ones.

alot of them were put in storage very quickly post cold war, at the time they had just 5-6 years on them...but than they are basic A/B models that will require upgradation

European ones will be a good option as Dutch ones will be available as they have placed some of them in storage due to end of cold war and will be upgraded to EMLU standards

i prefer f15se its monster
No doubt that F-15SE is a beast but we aren't interested in anorther American fighter platform considering the current state of our relationship with the US as our next fighter platform will serve us for a very long time.

I personally prefer Typhoon until 5th generation fighters are available to us. I know that it's ridiculously expensive but purchasing it would allow us to get our hands on lethal equipments for JF-17 from vendors like Leonardo finmeccanica , Selex ES and BAE etc. This is something Su-35 can never provide us and more importantly it is only 4++ generation fighter other than F-15 that can counter Rafale. Getting Typhoon is possible with the help of our close allies through soft loans.

When an F16 goes through the Falcon STAR (Structural Augmentation Roadmap) program or SLEP (Service Life Extension Program), it is stripped down to bare ones, like a civilian "D Check." The bare bones aircraft is then checked via ultrasound (to make sure no babies are hiding inside:p:) and any such corrosion or damage, even invisible to the naked eye is rectified.

The latest upgrades which include Structural & Avionics Upgrades is called CUPID - Combat Upgrade Plan Integration Details

Would it not be better if UAE also go for at least one non western platform, just as a precautionary measure, to be on safe side ?
May be not Russian but Chinese, which USA also might not bother much. After all, Egyptians also have Russian jets along with their Americans, or may be cooperation with Pakistan in JF-17 by developing new composite frame and customization according to UAEAF needs.

Today UAE has good relations with USA but so were the Pak-US relations before sanctions hit, and if they were hacking into Israeli jets, then Saudia, UAE or Pakistan are most pron to this kind or even more dangerous stuff. Just an opinion though.
