200000 suicides in five years ??? That's new to me. Can you link something.
Farmer suicide increase increased past 4 years before that the figure was considerably low.

I read that news back in 2008/09/10 so it is difficult to find that link now

I just googled it and found a new link that says 200,000 farmers has committed suicide since 1997

The bottom line is, no personal scoring but it is very sad to hear that and I hope the life of common man improves in every part of the world including India
