Well to be honest the one who had less controversy on these matters than anybody was Khatami government. But do you believe he is a good option for today's Iran ?

Rouhani and Khatami are one in politics. Rouhani's government is the revival of Rafsanjani era, if he succeeds to westernized our economy once again, we will have someone like Khatami to be the next president and if Rouhani fails, we will need someone that could build Iran and it's economy with the help of Iranian people. I see no one with that charisma among our politicians. Maybe Raisi could do it, what do you think?

About Raisi he don't have two important factor .
One is charisma . look at previous election if it was not for moderate and conservatives split and each group gathered behind the candidate of that group how much vote you think he could get, let be blunt you think candidate like Rouhani or Raisi can change the mind of how many of reformist or conservatives when it come to voting ?
Another factor is experience and Mr. Raisi seems to lack in that front . he has no foreign relation experience or any economy related previous work.
Also his work at Astan-e-Qods-e-Razavi won't incite confidence in people and his opponent can use it for undermining him (you knew sadly we are very good at it مثل اگر دیگ برای من نجوشه میخوام سر سگ توش بجوش مثل واضح جامعه ایران هست )

Judging by the presence of Navy officials, I would guess this engine is for the IRIN/IRGC-N and not the IRIAA. The dimensions are far too large compared to the T-90 engine for even a tank variant.
