New Delhi, Apr 24 (PTI) For the first time, 12 spokespersons of the Afghan government including some from the key ministries and departments such as intelligence agency and Borders and Tribal Affairs are on a week-long visit to the country on a familiarisation trip.
The spokespersons, who are visiting Mumbai, Ajmer and Delhi, include two women members Rana Galia Nooristani and Lailema Abbasi from Ministry of Borders & Tribal Affairs and Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation & Development respectively.
Other spokespersons and deputy spokespersons who are part of the group, invited by the Ministry of External Affairs, include those from National Directorate of Security (NDS) -- Afghan Intelligence Agency -- Ministries of Finance, Foreign Affairs, Mines, Counter Narcotic and Communication and also from Afghan President Secretariat.
The aim of the visit is to provide these spokespersons with better understanding of the Indian democracy and functioning of the ministries and institutions. [ the real aim is supporting terrorism in Pakistan's western border , they are most certainly not there for R&R ]
They will leave for their country on April 27.
