Are you serving in the Armed Forces bro? My opinion is based on the divided society of Pakistan so i came to the conclusion that Armed Forces's top brass is also divided.

Recently there has been a large migration of Hazara shias out of Quetta to rest of Pakistan, many are migrating abroad. Then we have to watch politicians and mullahs on the same page giving lecture about democracy and peace talks.

I dont know if the Capitan was in SSG or not but was based in mangla which houses a big Cantonment and Corps HQ. in addition to SSG's Musa company base near the scenic mangla Dam.

almost every Hazara class fellow I know has been murdered or his family members taken out of the cars and buses and shot by Lashkar Jhangvi brothers (of Munawar Hassan & Nawaz Sherif)
Hazara ethnicity is almost extinct now. there are some old people left in Mariabad near Quetta which is the last resting place of Gen Musa but Lashkar Jhangvi is planning a grand assault like it has done in the past on Northern areas. those that have reached Australian shores alive are the last of Pakistani Hazaras we know, unfortunately for them their features are so distinctive that they cant escape. 9 out of 10 chances are they are shia.. some of them are sunni too but Lashker Jhangvi doesnt bother checking that.. we cry for Palestinians and Kashmiris but see what we are doing to these guys and Ahmedis.

yes there is almost a civil war, I say almost because the TTP and lashkar jhangvi still havent made us all Sunnis to attack and kill the shias and all other minor communities yet. and also the shias have not picked up arms which would be TTP's dream come true . if shia do even a faction of what that has been done to them for decades that even you and I will pick up arms and will need no convincing from LeJ to rape, burn , kill and loot shias in our neighbourhood

ultimately our Arab brothers and Indians etc are all dreaming and hoping for an Iraq and Egypt like situation in Pakistan but somehow its not an all out war .... YET
but its only a matter of time when it can blow out then even the mighty army wont be able to contain it and will get 100% blame for failure by the politicians.

Pakistan on its current track of policies by its leadership is a done deal. what Soviets and Indians couldnt do has been done by our Arab masters funding of sectarianism and religious extremists of a specific sect in Pakistan that boasts the most crazy madrassahs and are the backbone of the Takfiri front line fighters

It's called tradition, that's why. Learn to read between the lines. A lot of political parties in Canada are thinking of dropping the monarchy altogether. There is even a legal challenge in the judicial system that says Canada has no use for a monarchy, and hasn't needed it since it's independence.

Duty of army is to protect the country and not to run it.
But the problem is ,the system in Pakistan is not democratic.
It is few families and some businessmen who are running this country for their vested intrests.
Even if army takes over we will be isolated from the rest of the world.
Make political leaders answerable.
And introduce real democracy.
Even then if they do not understand army should take control
