Why would China attack into Ladakh though?

Our conventional rocket artillery has a range of 350-400+ km, we can basically shell anything we want while sitting in our own territory at the top of the Tibetan plateau. New Delhi for instance is only 300 km from the border with China.

But as long as there is no Forward Policy 2.0 then there is no need for that.

You have nothing to worry about. India is a confused lot. Such confused lot can't threaten anyone but themselves.

Our trade with China has increased by leaps and bounds in the last decade, technically our diplomatic relations though strained are the best ever since the 60s.
Pakistan maybe unpredictable but China will not risk going into a full blown war in their backyard.
