We are in a habit of leaving things half way. zia did great job in securing our interests all around us but with him gone, all the good work he did was wrapped up. there was no one who can step in and carry on his policies. there are no contingency plans as to who would succeed and who will carry on the same policies. with Raheel gone it seems we are moving back to square one with rather alarming rate. being an optimist I am looking towards Bajwa in a hope that he will carry on the policies of Raheel because if those policies are compromised now, it will be detrimental to the state. recent events are cause of concern and Bajwa own statement about LOC will be back to normal when he got the button, and then connecting dots and other events, at the back of my mind, there is definite unease if I have to he honest.

last time 3 rivers were sold to india, then half country. next lined up are nukes and kashmir. God forbid.

This govt is not sincere to Pakistan or to army.

It has recently shown its insincerity to Pakistan by sending its delegation to Amritsar when mission in India and intelligence strongly opposed any interaction with India under mounting hostility from the neighbor.

The supreme court is not sincere to Pakistan interests either. The Panama case is not a criminal investigation like a murder. The stolen property is there and the person with him stolen property was found has not been able to prove that the property is his. Its an open and shut case of extreme national importance. The indictment of the sitting corrupt PM will be in the national interest of the country but the self interest of court and the judge presiding it might be at cross purposes. The case could have been wrapped up in a month hearing on a daily basis. But no! The court is going on vacation on December 16 and the new chief justice is coming in on December 31. Vacation of course is more important than public interest.

As for MQM. There was a clear case of money laundering. The govt and Chaudry Nisar specifically did not cooperate with British authorities. The case was closed due to lack of evidence.

As for the dog like Pervez Rasheed. the less said the better. When he dies, he should be given to Nawaz Sharif. He belongs to him, not to Allah.
