India is a massive population, so obviously there is no magic wand, but basic infrastructure is a must. Basics like toilets, public heath care etc are unfortunately crumbing and have crumpled, India really need to work hard on these.

Yes exactly, don't know how someone can live on $2 a day, but India are good at saying stupid things.
