The end of the deal, hopes, delusions and treasons

Iran is a nuclear power many years ago. Iran's public program (AEOI) is a covert-story. IRGC stealth nuke program is wayyyy more advanced. Even AEOI couild build a bomb in days, if needed. All these never ending "news" , JCPOAs, NPTs, Kamalvandi declarations, Bibi declarations, Rouhani...

@yavar, Is it the key question? One thing is a deal signed, and a very different thing is planes DELIVERED to customer. I think Iran will NOT allow same old cases to happen again, and let again Russia eats Iran's money without fulfilling the delivering of purchases. Maybe you are right anr...

Official: Iran wants to buy helicopters and fighters from Russia

I dont believe any of these rumours. I will believe DELIVERING of SU-30/SU-35 to Iran when I see them in airbases in Iran. One thing is a deal signed, and a very different thing is planes DELIVERED to customer. I think Iran will NOT allow same old cases to happen again, and let again Russia...

Iran Air Force to stage large-scale maneuvers nationwide

I dont know if F14 retirement was due to what you are saying (stopping Iran's ways to get spare parts and components of such a powerful platform) or simply that the wheel of Military Indrustrial Complex had to be turning and turning, draining resources and resources of the american taxpayers in...

Iranian Missiles | News and Discussions

But these Kalibrs crached accidentally in Iran, or were "downed" by Iran? Also, brother @yavar , you have said tons of times IRGC is independent from Rouhani government (unlike Army, Navy etc which "depends" directly to Government). IRGC could unveil whatever they wanted today, tomorrow, this...

Discussion of Iranian support for Palestinian resistance groups

I'm amazed with this guy, @Falcon29 . I only have read some posts of him in the Gaza-Israel war thread, but for sure he's amazing. If Iran had not transfered tech and know-how to palestinians sieged in Gaza, these would have thrown "stones and molotov cocktails" to Israel. Very little else...

Iranian Navy | News and Discussions

I agree. Iran has developed own subs, own aircrafts, own satellite launchers... It's way easier to develop a replenishmet ship like Kharg. If Iran does not have now other ships like Kharg is not because of Know-how but because of budget. I think this will be fixed soon, more probably by IRGC...

    Iranian Air Defense Systems

Exactly. 200-250 km range (s200) is NOT enough for striking AWACS, tankers... They would far away than 200 kms. it would be innovative to develop a MRBM (aprox. 600-800 km range) with real time data link (with VHF and other BIG BIG over the horizon radars, Iran has very good ones) and ARH...

    IRIAF | News and Discussions

I think also the same: Iran has some aces hidden, at least one project for fighters (don´t know if manned or unmanned). So the purchases from Russia (I discard China in this area of fighters) will be limited. Also the budget is very limited, so a BIG aircraft purchase it seems extremely complicated.

    IRIAF | News and Discussions

Any new jet aircraft is build around its engines. First you have the engines (or at least the engine design), and after that you build the rest. The opposite is not impossible but it is against good-manners engineering. Extra-cost, extra-time, extra-troubles. I think a manned aircraft also...

    IRIAF | News and Discussions

Yoy are making chinese Dark Sword the ONLY choice for a supersonic UCAV. That is naive. Supersonic UCAV will be in different forms, as manned fighters: light (F-16, MIG-29), semi-heavy, heavy (F-14, SU-35...), etc J-79 engines power Phantom F-4 (heavy weight multirole interceptor) with top...

    IRIAF | News and Discussions

So basically you are saying the same as me: Supersonic UCAVs (not stealth) with AESA radars and BVR missiles can do well the air defence task in iranian airspace, as a 1st step. Even with a J-85 or J-79 engines, due to the BIG weight loss for an UCAV (compared to a manned aircraft), the range...

    IRIAF | News and Discussions

Stealth supersonic UCAV would be the 2nd step. The 1st step would be supersonic UCAV. F-15, F-14, SU-30, SU-35, F-16, MIG-31...all of them are NOT stealth. And we are talking everyday in this forum (and previously in our dear and missed IMF) about Iran's needs in terms of Air Force, and...

    IRIAF | News and Discussions

Exactly. Both J-85 and J-79 may be used by Iran NOT in manned fighters but in UCAV supersonic fighters. I'm sure Iran is developing its own turbofan engines (for manned & unmanned aircrafts) but till these projects are mature and finished Iran maybe is working in these older engines for...

    Iranian Air Defense Systems

Iran has TONS of types of Air Defence systems, and TONS of numbers of these systems. As Draco said before, Iran is making 3rd Khordad like cookies, and so with many systems. Also, Iran has many types of SHORAD systems, including radar guided, EO guided AAA systems, extremely cheap and efficient.

Featured Iran can begin exporting/importing weapons from Sunday

I think Iran will go for some Russian fighters (not a lot, maybe 30 or 40) with ToT. If not ToT, Iran will not purchase them. I think Iran wants Su-30 or Su-35 (or Su.57??) mainly in order to learn new things, not in order to re-build its air force. Why? Because i think Iran has several fighter...
