  • I responded to that 2nd last visitor message you stated in the thread, you may have seen it already.

Anyways, S-19, let me ask you something.

    Are you Shia?
i recently saw your thread about why india did not use nukes on pakistan while they had it first,

If india thought they could get away with it, they would not hesitate even one bit
Most Pakistanis want to create and have good relations with India, and yes, India will soon become an economic powerhouse as well as a military powerhouse that no one, not even China, would consider going to war against.
Pakistanis have a lot to learn from themselves. That's what we need most, to believe in ourselves.
I don't hate India, but I do hate those Indians who go beyond 'the point'.

    I'll leave it at that.
OK, Thanks for the discussion. Maybe we continued later.

Btw, If you found where in Quran Allah tells us how to pray please send me the verse (Hint: There is not such thing in Quran :)

    Take care,
    Salam
    There are two possibilities:

1- Prophet Muhammad just meant don't WRITE it down. because it gets mixed with Quran. That's fine. They didn't wite it down until much later. They just MEMORIZED it. Those days only a few people knew how to read/wirte.

2- Prophet Muhammad meant don't narrate anything from me at all <--- No hadeeth can prove this because his companions did narrate many ahaadeeth from him. Even Zaid ibn Thaabit has narrated many many hadeeth from him. So either this hadeeth is a facbrication, OR Zayid ibn Thaabit was liar (he wan't).

It was Caliphs that banned narration of hadeeth from the prophet, brother. It's a well know fact.

I don't care what "Ulema" of Sunnis say about "Saheeh" al-Bukhari. Islam is not a religion of Dogma. Every hadeeth has a chain of narrators and it should be examined. For us Shia there is no Shaheeh book other than QURAN. Nothing else!
    Messenger teaches the Quran:

A similar in that We have sent among you a Messenger of your own, rehearsing to you Our Signs, and sanctifying you, and ***instructing you in Scripture and Wisdom, and in new knowledge***

It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered a messenger from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to **instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom**,- although they had been, before, in manifest error;-

"Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."
Well, our argument is getting circular. Should I now bring tens of other verses where it is said that Mohammed does NOT have the authority to command anything other than the Koran?
    ____________________

"Other than the Quran" if it means "against Quran" then you are right. Quran is the pilar and prophet Muhammad comes next to Quran. However he did order many things that are not in Quran's plain text. Like how to pray.

Quran say "Follow the Messenger" in many many verses. That's a given.
Should I bring "sahih" bukhari hadiths in which our Prophet mohammed himself forbids recording "hadiths"?
    ____________________________
Judging which hadeeth are correct, and which are not isn't easy. There is no 'Saheeh' book on earth other than the QURAN.

Every single hadeeth should stand on it's own merits. Not the name of the book it's written in!!

There are many hadeeth that say prophe Muhammad ordered us to record his sayings and convey to others.

It's even logical that we should do that. I am waiting for you to tell me where in Quran Allah teaches us how to make our daily prayers.
