Behind the dramatic rescue of American-Canadian couple from Haqqani captivity

Your whole blabbering is based on unknown "Sources". If that is the criteria, then similar "sources" friendly to Pakistan informed that a person of interest involved in many cross border terrorist attacks in Pakistan is trying to spread mis-information under the guise of a certain "A-Team" on Pakistan Defence forum. In return if his masters are happy with the bullshit he posts, they put food in his mouth, if not than a bamboo up his arse.

There you go as I mentioned in my earlier posts and now the latest details are confirming this;
Those making a scene against Afghan ANSF should now look in the mirror for once now :P

1. Because of information obtained from drone footage, it is believed that the U.S. had long known of their location, as did Pakistan’s military arm ISI, and it was “always a matter of someone pulling the trigger to go over and get them.” A Pakistani official told the press Friday that the car carrying the family was tracked down soon after it crossed from Afghanistan into Pakistan, but sources say that the family long had been in the tribal areas of Pakistan.

2. Sources say the U.S. government started floating rumors some time ago within the Pakistani high military that a rescue operation was highly probable.
It is believed that while the couple was moved around a few times in the early stages of their captivity, their location had remained static for some time and Joint Special Operations Command were getting ready to embark on a rescue, when ultimately the Pakistanis — fearing another national upstaging and embarrassment akin to the bin Laden raid in 2011 which exposed them as harboring major terrorists — took the reign.

When A-team told me about this on other thread i thought that man this story looks like a script made by indian media my guess wasn't wrong i think after all fox news is zee/republic tv of US! :)

This is really weird.

Your guess was vastly off target and you cover up with the ridiculous excuse that the news is from Fox News, and Fox News is like Zee/ Republic TV of US. So something with which India has zero connection now becomes something for which India is almost responsible.

My DP says it all.

So something with which India has zero connection

This afghani user was found sharing sweet memories of indian marriage(s) he has attended in india ......... since then he has been acting all weird. Do you serve white rice? If yes ......... Not good ... white rice may result in constipation ....... which may result in constipated views.

Oh sorry we were talking about indian connection ......

wrong Pakistan had no idea about these hostages as they entered Pakistan about a week prior to the rescue operation. confirmed by both Boyle and the Americans.

Let us agree to disagree on this one :)
you cannot just agree to disagree without any argument this is just convenient to you because you don't have any valid point. @Darth Vader

LOL.

I haven't eaten rice since my school days; eating it made me sleepy, and the punishment was to run around the hockey field 5 times holding up one of those ancient rifles that the school used.

No problem; now that we are talking about the Indian connection, I suppose constipation comes naturally into the conversation. :enjoy:

Also if they were in AF for all this period, then I can assure that JSOC can run operations in any spot of the country and these maggots had no chance of eluding them for this long
than why don't you and the US Delta rescue Kevin Kings and Timothy weeks among dozens others.

guys you don't need to quote @A-Team as he cannot accept the fact that the Americans and Afghans couldn't do anything to rescue this family and Pak did so he's really hurt.

I gave you a very logical explanation for indian connection my dear sir......

Unforgettable indian marriage ceremony .......... eating white rice there .......... suffering from constipation ......... and that led to constipated views on Pakistan and ops that Pakistan may have genuinely conducted successfully.

LOL.

Indeed.

I was referring to the fact that whenever a Pakistani wants to embarrass the hell out of an Indian, shit and shitting (in the open) seems to come into the conversation. The white rice bit was a nice twist to the .. tail?

Lol... so the freed family is also part of a grand conspiracy to keep the truth buried?

The source is alive and ticking.... Just ask the freed family. Why would any establishment create a grand conspiracy and keep the first hand public eyewitness alive?

See sir, I may have unknowingly and unintentionally provided a very reasonable and an affordable solution (white rice constipation) for that open shiz problem. This is the beauty of open discussions ......... problems are shared and you may find solutions coming from very unexpected sources. indian government should take lead and learn from all this short interaction we had.

Do u know Fox News? U should watch their news reporting. I wouldn't call it news...it's rather biased views shoved down the throats of those stupid ppl who take Fox News seriously...

As for u taking this as the ultimate truth...
1) the guy who got rescued said himself where he was kept(Afghanistan) and praised Pak army for rescuing him(after they were moved to Pak)
2) Trump himself tweeted about it and commended Pak's actions.

So as for point 1...I would take the actual hostage's firsthand account of the events over whatever u or Fox News has to say.

As for the second one...what happened? U don't trust Trump's word all of a sudden?
I remember u were opening threads, posting articles left and right when Trump would say something regarding Pak not doing enough for Afghan war...u don't find that same Trump credible anymore now that what he said doesn't align with ur preconceived notions and biases?

Let me guess the response ...............

hmmm the convenient "lets agree to disagree" when faced with logical arguments.

Lol he used to engage me in the past...but as it is with other members here...once u shatter their illusions enough that they have nothing to come back with, they stop replying to u altogether. So I doubt I will get a reply...but that's a good thing...saves me from wasting my time.

Hmm.

There are no fees involved, I hope?
