Russia is discussing with Egypt the supply of air defense systems

Russia is discussing with Egypt the supply of air defense systems, according to statements by the head of the Federal Department of Military Technical Cooperation.

Sergei Shimezov, general manager of Russian company Rustic, said last February that his country was discussing with Egypt the contract for air defense systems S400 or Antey 2500.

They seem to be doing exactly what we predicted, or at least suggested they need to do, get a lot more of these than the 3 divisions of S-300vm. With all the new facilities they're putting up like the new nuclear reactor, the new military base and the new projected octagon military complex and many other things, they need a lot of these and their command structure needs to be redundant and completely secure.

Egypt wants the S-400 at a good price, while Russia is proposing the Antey at an affordable price..Egypt will likely get more Antey 2500, and a few S-400 till the economy gets well, and then we'll see more S-400 systems..
