Palestine has NEVER been an independent country. It has either been part of Roman, Persian, Otoman or English empire. They don't want to rule themselves. If Iranians fight and die to get rid of Israel, the Palestinians will turn around and give the land to someone else to rule over them.

Best thing to do is make deals with Israel. The Arabs have been doing that. Why shouldn't Iran? Are Iranians more Palestinian than the Palestinians?!
