The point that has to be note is that they hit a ship with a ballistic missile.
So that makes it an anti ship ballistic missile.

As the article says, a floating barge, proves that missile was anti-ship and most probably one of the as shared above.

Fox news also reported the same. So they are your trusted media as Irani medias are not trusted here but Pakistan Gov has allowed Irani media in Pakistan recently under the news Pak Iran deal.

What am I reading here.... What was that for and what even make you think like this. It would have been more pleasure if you did not quote me at all for such post saying what "My trusted Media"? and Pakistan Government has allowed Irani Media etc.....?. Where from the media thing came into discussion contrary to the whole discussion which was subject to missile test and type of missile. Re-read all the previous posts and review your above as well and try to understand what you wrote here.

Other day you locked a thread saying that it was a propaganda and only Irani media reported it. That's why I said so. I had this news before but waited for someone other than Irani media to report it, my point here is that I agree with you on media being used as a tool in war but in some situation when there is only access to one media it should be allowed.

Whatever action is taken, is not the concern here so also, actions are not taken on personal wish but as per rules and observations. Citation of different sources warrants the need as per sensitivity of the subject hence, sometimes local sources threads are being closed as well even in Pakistani matters. There are some situations that local media is being used purely to exaggerate the matter though no question of source here at all nor anyone asked neither the other matter is concerned.

Any ways coming back to the topic Anti ship ballistic missile is a huge threat for USA. I think they will take some action. This is so far the most dangerous missile Iran poses if the news is true because I still don't believe that Iran can really make something like that. You can sink and entire carrier with a single missile.

No one cares what you believe or not. The missile has been tested and even Americans have confirmed it and this kid is still finding it hard to believe Maybe you want to sit on it and have them test it whilst sitting on it so you'll believe it then?

Why? it's still just a target at the end of the day. If a missile can hit a target with a CEP of 15 meters, then what does it matter if it is a ship or a house? Ships do move, but not at supersonic speed. The main achievement here is the fact Iran possess missile with such low CEP.

Because a ballistic missile which intends to hit a moving ship has a war head that can change trajectory and adjust it's flight path so that is advance tech. That means that Iran also has the technology to evade ABM systems.

I am not even kidding, some of these guys just seem to want to not believe anything. If you don't want to believe what the country of origin says, fine, but heck even the enemies of Iran are admitting to these things but people are find it hard to believe. You just can't win with some people!

But this is not exactly new tech...Iran had these missile for many years now. These "quasi ballistic missiles" are easier to guide than the ballistic missile that have much higher flight altitude.

I was replying to the member who said "because I still don't believe that Iran can really make something like that". I might have misunderstood them, maybe they did not mean they actually don't believe it but rather made the statement to suggest they're impressed.
