I was replying to the member who said "because I still don't believe that Iran can really make something like that". I might have misunderstood them, maybe they did not mean they actually don't believe it but rather made the statement to suggest they're impressed.

I was surprised too as he was not denying the test but as the news is totally different than previous tests and telling news specs, therefore, used that sentence as reference. Hopefully, more details will be shared yet seeing above shared picture for the time being.

But this is not exactly new tech...Iran had these missile for many years now. These "quasi ballistic missiles" are easier to guide than the ballistic missile that have much higher flight altitude.

You probably only started following Iranian missile tests yesterday and you're trying to talk to a guy whose been following such development since 2003? I am trying to help inform you but you don't seem to want to pay attention. The khalijeh fars missile was first tested in 2010, look at the video snip posted by jfeskandari. Claiming previous BM test by Iran were "not even close to this test" shows you're clearly misinformed.

So Iran too trying to develop anti ship ballistic missile. US adventure against Iran seems getting difficult if not impossible. Any isolation or sanctions are not going to work either. Khalij fars is a single stage solid fuel missile with a 650kg war head that has an interception evading guidence system and uses forward fins to evade the in coming interception via land based link updating the interceptor alert. Khalij has a range of 300 km and was a derivation of Fateh 110 missile but the movement of the warhead was limited in Khalij system and was not able to enhance it flight path for ships that were doing above 30 knots.

Baby this missile hit the target further and intercepted a fast moving ship so this was a better missile.

Regarding Russia,China and other countries not co-operating with US, nope they're close to irrelevant, if US decides to reimpose the sanctions others will just follow suit like they did in the past. It's the fear of Iran getting Nukes and consequent full-blown war that compelled US to make the deal.

OPEC, UN, Russia/ China vetoing and 20 other consequences.

Every week the EU makes it a point now too that it won't go along with the U.S. anti-Iran shenanigans. All EU countries Russia, China, SK, and India have gradually increased their investments in Iran, despite all Trump anti Iran hoo haa.

The sanctions regime has collapsed, so as long as Iran sticks with the JCPOA, and more importantly is not the first to back out of the deal.

Trump knows he can't do shit.......only make noise. That's it.

So reportedly, two missiles test fired and one hit the target or there is any further report in this regard.

However, seeing the last sanction by US, don't know how much gonna sanction further Iran after this test but one thing for sure that Tension is going to raise further in the region and doing so without active diplomacy with the world, might result in further sanctions.
