Will India choose J20 or FGFA if China and India didn't have 1962 conflict ?

I think we would had gone for both as co-decelopment partner as our economy would have been much stronger and open due to sheer amount of business which was stopped due to war. You forget that point or missed it, don't know. However if everything would had been normal I think China would had upper hand compared to Russia which is geographically very far from us and culturally and spiritually we are more aligned with China.

For that both need to be compared logically which is not possible at the moment. So it will be wrong to say which one will have upper hand based on machine only, leaving Russia past experience aside for a moment. Rest we can go on debating but it wouldn't matter much.

I think China is leading Russia in avionics, weapon package, and stealthy. Hard to say in Radar and engine, maybe they are still ahead little bit in engine. Once WS15 is ready, everything will be fine. J20 sure beat T50 in range, it can fly directly to USA with 4 giants Fuel pods. The combat radius of J20 is somewhere between 1500KM to 2000 KM.

Just one comparision.

PAKFA climbed at a rate of almost 400 meter per second and it can reach Mount everest in 27 second. J 20?

PAKFA's air to air missiles are capable of shooting down not only enemy planes from great distance but also incoming enemy AAM. J 20?

I can prove everything by posting even videos but I know what will happen here so I do not want to go in much detail.
