Pakistan and France sign MoU on technical collaboration for JF-17 Thunder

I think that would be the most stupid thing to do. The whole purpose of 6 countries coming together was to distribute the costs, so the project remains affordable. So they setup 6 complete factories to build how many planes?

Not big issue because all stake holders can manufacture complete EFT including Engine so we can buy them from Italy or UK with ease if selected for JFT.

EJ-200 is also available with TVC.

the typhoon has 4 separate production lines, one in here in the,uk and the rest are in germany, italy, and spain, by separate partners and they actively seek buyers where their company can build the typhoon. so for example the saudi's typhoons are built here in uk and the same applies for oman too. (built by bae systems) but kuwait is having theri typhoons built in italy by a seprate vendor.

this does not mean each country builds their own wings and central fusalege etc...... but each country build acertain parts of the typhoon and ship them to the relevant country.
as shown below.

you can build them in house as well but only as kits, with some local aspect into it as well. but this depends on how many you order.

yes the ej-200 does have tvc but its only a prototype and needs further funding

@Thorough Pro Now above post should have cleared your mind, do some research before responding and kindly mind your language when responding to my post in future.

Hi,

What you stated was / is clear as daylight---.

As from your statement it gets clear that each of those 6 countries could assemble the aircraft complete but not manufacture it complete---.

Because the tasks of manufacturing different parts is split amongst different facilities---in different countries.

Sir,
For noob like me, can you please explain what is meant by harnessing electrical power through engined or hot wiring for that matter ?

Hi,

If you are talking about this deal with France---engine compartment is an extremely hot area---you cannot use ordinary wiring---tubing---wiring protection and other general use material in this area---.

You have to use material that can take extreme amounts of heat and still stay stable over a longer period of time---.

I didn't research to find out exactly how many factories, but the point I was making was based on logic, and assembly and manufacture are two entirely different things.

Just like Thunder can be assembled in both china and Pakistan but can not be "fully built in house" in any of the two countries.

There was nothing wrong with my language, the word "Stupid" was refering to the logic of having 4 fully capable factories.

is it somehow related to the news of JF-17B having snecma M88-2 engine ?
