Pakistanis watch Emirati troop march in India with disbelief

What is there to disbelief? Arabs aren't trustworthy and that is no secret. Apart from the Saudis there is not a single Arab country that would stand with Pakistan. I have met Arabs who don't support Pakistan, but would rather support our enemies. They envy our nuclear capability whilst they are mired in bloodshed. They envy our strong army because they don't have any.

Arabs have let their Palestinian brothers rot for decades. Look at how the Arab world treats Iraqis and Syrians. Arab refugees flee for their lives to Western capitals. What does that tell us?

Anyone still stuck in brotherhood BS needs a serious wake up call. Pakistan should look after its interests. That is all that matters.

We did good by not joining the illegal war in Yemen.

mehhhh nobody in Pakistan even noticed the march. Secondly what piece of shittt this item published by ToI because it has failed to produce one single statement by even a single Pakistani (among the MANY Pakistanis' phrase used by the newspaper), which could support this indian claim of we watched it in disbelieve.

Thirdly UAE is filled with these bharotis whats the big deal if their soldiers marched in India.

Above all we stood tall and did not bow to UAE threats and warnings. These sheiklhs can have extra services in India we have no issue. The world is fast changing and we have to change as well. Strategically or otherwise we did not see any significant role by UAE or any favour.
a poorly written article in 'Times of Islamabad'... UAE treats muslims and non-muslims equally and thats a bad thing.. lolz..

UAE does not have an economy. All it has a land which it has allowed to be used to bring revenue of all sorts.

From fruits to every other thing; all have to come from outside. what does UAE produce anyway? don't tell me oil :P

So what happened to you Indians? Having difficulty calling a spade a spade? Aren't you the same Indians that scream and shout that Gulf states fund Wahabbi terror? LMAO It is funny to see how India has suddenly found love for an arab nation accused of mass terror funding. Picking and choosing as usual.

Need to end threads of Ummah Chumah!!! Things are changed, no need to stuck in old history.
It's all about country interest, instead of what Muslim think.
It happens everywhere, every country keeps its interest first irrespective of any religion.

It doesn't matter. We'll eventually learn. Even if it has to be the hard way.

Compared to other ME monarchies, UAE has been smart about a post oil world... and has build up impressive sovereign fund and made investment across the world... they are the best baniyas... :)
Who would have thought a desert country will be a big travel destination, but it is for many europeans. Not every country need to be into manufacturing in big way.

that was in reply to a member who thought it is Times of India that wrote the article... and the article moans about how UAE treats muslims and non-muslims alike... which I think is laughable... but then it is written in some unknown website by a noob probably(which I pointed out). Not sure what is upsetting you.. :)

LOL look at this Indian evading the question. We get it. You are a hypocrite and pick and choose to your liking. UAE sponsorship of Wahhabism is good. Others are bad until they tow Indian line.

Why not Pakistan ?

Pakistan became irrelevant for Saudi & UAE the moment it decided to become so called "Secular" by denying any military assistant in Yemen crisis.

Pakistan for SA & UAE is nothing but a cheap security provider and nothing else. All this blah blah regarding "Muslim Brotherhoood" is irrelevant in current geo-politics.

Why India ?

USA which is their ally, supports India and sees India as the net security provider in the region. Hence the position of India in the IOR becomes very important for them.

Plus they(especially UAE) are also fighting against the Islamic extremism, BINGO, India is also looking for someone who can cooperate on this issue and help in tracking this useless mullahs and brainwashed kidos.

Will the relation materialize ?

May be, it will, but as we know India's Foreign policy takes time but comes up with complete package of solutions. So it may materialize but will take its own time.

Plus India is looking at those deep Pockets of their Sovereign Funds. $ 75 Billion

And UAE is looking at India, because it has dream of becoming "The Next Singapore" and India is the only obvious choice.

There is more oil produced, than there are buyers.

It is as simple as that. nothing more, nothing less.

lol... no.. I dont like that UAE funds wahabism... there you go.. any more questions?

Palatoon of UAE khawajasaras parade in front of a khawajasara so let it be.

But you like to march next to them.
yes... I do approve of that... its just a silly march to entertain kids... I dont like marching by forces(Indian or otherwise) on republic day.... but others seem to like it... so...

Actually we dont and the article is a master piece of narrow minded authori..only in Pakistani political psyche we still belive the cold war A vs B mentality...

UAE, Pakistan and India are free countries and what they do among themselves is their sovereign right..Arabs did not watch in disbelief..when Pakistan extended military expanded releations with Russia...

There was a time when Arab soldiers, under the heroic command of 17 years old Muslim General, Muhammad Bin Qasim marched on India and soon defeated the arrogant Hindu Raja Dahir whose men had ill-treated few Muslim women.

When articles start with glorification of an invader, looter and plunderer..they reflect the poor mental state of the author..along with associated psychological disorders related to self-esteem and complex..

UAE is under immense cultural attack. It is not only the Arabic language which is shrinking but also Islamic values fast eroding in many cities of UAE due to massive presence of non-Muslims

Actually arabs dont give flying sh1t about religion as much as the Indo-Pak mentality does..the Islam of Arabia is very different from Islam of Indo-Pak..and the later being more conservative..if retards like this authors has credentials of NDU then I am confident to say this institute is a shame of a nation and waste of tax payer money..

Pakistanis are still Hindus for all practical purpose and the same practices of Hinduism made their way into "Indianized Islam"

Pakistan is stuck in history.

Correct...give you thumbs up for that..we need to evolve our psychology...gone is gone..look forward to new chapters..
