Mumbai, Sep 23: So, the Raj Thackeray-headed Maharashtra Nivnirman Sena (MNS) has taken the lead in asking Pakistani actors to get out India.

Taking a cue from his cousin’s Shiv Sena, which had vowed not to allow Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan to promote their upcoming films in Maharashtra, the MNS Marathi Chitrapat Sena – has threatened Pakistani actors to leave India.

While the threat has not named any actor, Fawad Khan, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2014 film Khoobsurat, has Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, coming up for release.

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Rahul Dholakias Raees, in which she stars alongside Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

The MNS has given a 48-hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artists to leave India or the “MNS will push them out.”

An Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS)-affiliate on Friday set a 48-hour deadline for all Pakistani artists working in India to immediately leave the country. “We gave a 48 hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artists to leave India or MNS will push them out,” said Amey Khopkar, MNS Chitrapat Sena.

This comes at a time of heightened tensions between India and Pakistan after terrorists killed 18 Army personnel at an Army camp in Uri, Kashmir India blamed Pakistan for the attack as probe agencies reportedly recovered weapons and ammunition bearing Pakistani insignia from the site. Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack and said that it won’t go unpunished.

It is, however, not the first time that Pakistani artists have been threatened by Mumbai-based political parties. Shiv Sena in the past had forced noted ghazal singer Ghulam Ali to cancel his performance in Mumbai. They also threatened to launch a stir against a cricket match between India and Pakistan during the T20 World Cup.

There country ....they have right to kick him out. ....Greed is biatch...

How can you deny them the right to protest and make threats ? Besides not many in Maharashtra is going to object to these Demands.
Every one is free to express his view in democratic setup, so who is denying them right to protest, smart ones just ignore them and move ahead with better things in life and govt has to ensure that all the protests are peacefull in nature and no one takes law in his hand.

The police cannot possibly offer protection to pakistani citizens in the face of protest by a political party. Nor would any Maharashtra policeman risk their life or limb for a pakistani actor in these times.

If these pakistani actors have any sense, they should be packing their bags and saying their thank you's.

When does making a threat to somebody who is not threatening you become part of freedom of speech.

LOL.... who says that you can make threats ONLY when somebody is threatening you ?

You can just about threaten anybody including your neighbour, your boss , your friend, your enemy , your cat or your cricket team

Its not a very 'nice' thing to do, but I doubt they are trying to be 'Nice'.

Don't attack religion. Its a political party, it has nothing to do with hindu or christian or muslim.

Don't be shy? Call it like it is, a it truely a hindu terrorist organization. What can we expect from a country who's PM is terrorist, who order the killing of thousands of innocent muslim in Gujrat.

Yes but then hopefully then don't act on it. That will be crossing the line, I hope you agree to that.
