2016 Russian tank contests start

A leapard doing what is called a drift. The tank basically spun out and leapard tanks almost always have rubber blocks on their treads.

Moreover, a T-72 does have a hydraulic transmission, so much for all the nonsense you have been spewing.

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/russia/t-72-design-3.htm

"The 580 kW engine through the hydraulic transmission can accelerate it to speeds of 50-60 km per hour."

You need not to find a steering T-72 as an evidence.
All the tanks in the world can do that.

What is a "steering T-72"? You seem to have a hard time digesting the fact that I posted T-72 making that same turn without issue. Something that is impossible according to you.

Go to study some basic engineering about the tract vehicles.
You are a good talker but lack of tech.
The way of steering between 96B and T-72 is totally different.
Meaningless to argue too much. Nothing to be shame the bad performance of T-72 steering, it's just toooooo old.

In other words you can't argue in a technical manner so you repeat the same nonsense that has been dubunked, forget about basic driving you probably never driven anything in your life let alone know anything about how vehicles, tracked or wheeled performs.

You should say all old generation gearbox transmission-ed tank slowdown when they turn.
Hydraulic transmission equipped tank, such as M1A1, Leopard, Japan 90, China 96B, 99 will not slowdown to turn unless the speed is too fast or when at a very sharp cornering, or on a slippery surface such as icy road.

The argument has nothing to do with slowing down. This is where you are completely either confused or down right think everyone is stupid. The reason the T-72 spung out on that turn was because of a slick surface and not because of transmission.

Let me ask you, how did other T-72 make that turn? Did they install these magical "hydraulic transmissions"?

You're entire argument falls apart here because what you claim a T-72 can't do is proven wrong.

As what I say, there are no accidents. Can you show us any hydraulic transmission tank flip in the same way?

I posted a Leapard that spung out. According to your claim this is impossible with the transmission it has

The tank break one of the tracts to make an opposite turning is the reason to flip over the tank, not the driver, he definitely didn't want to do so. He over turned, then he wanted to turn it back, the tank broke two times.

No they dont, stop BSing, the inner track disengages. There is no breaking.

To flip an 40+ tons vehicle is not an easy job, something is wrong.

You are slow, that is what's wrong. If a car slides off a road sideways and hits gravel, it will usually flip over because of the sudden deceleration and inertia.

Basic physics, nothing to do with transmissions. I feel like I'm arguing with a 7 year old.

This is the end of my reply. Don't want to extend the meaningless arguments anymore.

Don't let the door hit your *** on the way out.

Why would the T-14 not have a new transmission and suspension? The T-72 is more then 40 years old obviously there has been improvements. The debate is not even about the T-14, it's about someone claiming that a T-72 can not make the same turns as a Type 96 and then claiming it will flip. The problem is that this person is generalizing all T-72s because of a bad driver that breaked and turned too hard on a concrete surface. All tanks will slide on concrete if they don't have rubber blocks for traction.

So in other words what you are in fact saying is that the 40 year old "Gearbox transmission" is as good as "Hydraulic transmission". But when China Type 096B uses a newer technology transmission it offers absolutely NO advantage but when such features is applied on the newer T-14 Armata Tank, it is now a regarded as superior features.

I am a layman when it comes to this but seeing is believing. I think you need more than words to convince me and the others. Long Long did a good job with her video presentation, how about yours?

The T-72 also uses a "hydraulic transmission".

Don't put words in my mouth. I said transmissions improve with time. I said that the Type 96 probably had a better transmission then the T-72.

As for T-14 it's transmission is better then the T-72 because it is counter rotating, it can go in reverse at the same speed as in forward drive, it's automatic and it likely gives better acceleration.

Then you are blind like your friends. I obviously posted a giff of a T-72 making that same turn better the Type 96.

Here is proof:

https://j.gifs.com/zpJzyY.gif

According to your friend the T-72 could not make that turn because it had such a poor transmission; ever since I posted the proof he just ignored it because his entire argument fell apart.

Again, the T-72 turned hard on pavement and slid. Why is that so difficult to understand? Most T-72 in the biathlon made that turn without any problems, your friend is very dishonest because he ignored all the other T-72s and focused on driver error and concluded all T-72 can't make that turn because of a poor transmission. He completely refuses to acknowledge it was a bad driver, if I give you a Ferrari and you manage to spin out, does it mean the car has a poor transmission?

Congrats to Russia for winning first. It was tough match and everybody performed really well.

Disappointed we didn't get first. But I guess its impossible to beat Russia on their home turf. 2016 is not the year for China to compete in competition. But is the year of technology and innovation for China. :enjoy:

Does anyone know the identity of the Russian translator for the Zimbabwe team? He is becoming a meme on Chinese military forums.

不是在水塘掉的,移动射击时轮子已经掉了。注意看第三张动图,很明显坦克左侧的第一个负重轮处空了。车组开着五对(+1)负重轮打出了3中2的成绩又跑完了大半圈才在终点换的换车。

the left first road wheel disapperaed
Not happened in the pool, don't know where and when the mobile first loading wheels had dropped after running 55 minutes.
Look at the third figure, obviously tanks first road wheel on the left of the place is empty before entering the water pool and shooting.

when finding the lacking of one road wheel, 109 ran the half circle, and finished water pool and shooting,
and ran to the transfer destination , then 103 substituded 109, 2minutes and 15 seconds behinde Russian.
