Russian warplane violates Turkish airspace

do you think recent developments will have any impact on nuclear plant deals with Russia ?

Azerbaijan is turning Turkey into an energy hub with TANAP and TAP alone worth more than $50 bil , plus is working on Trans-Caspian pipeline to connect Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan

Apparantly Japanese Toshiba was quick to make an offer if the Russian have a change of heart.

Erdoğan'ın o sözlerinden sonra Japon Toshiba'dan ilginç açıklama - Milliyet Haber

I wouldnt worry about it.

Russia lost AKP s trust, Turkish people never trusted Russia !

Russian women are able even to kill their lovers with sophisticated means, only with modern forensic methods detectable.

That's a shit society there, only money counts in Eastern society of ex "so called Comunists" AQ

Hmm, its hard to make a prediction in this part of the world but the recent incidents were relatively small, Russia needs the money from this lucrative assingment, i dont think its gonna have an effect unless the situation escalates which i dont think is gonna happen.

I believe you don't know Putin's ego. It will unfortunate escalate

About Gas Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan route is very possible plus Iran is showing interest in joining to the pipeline but complete shut down of Russian gas might be difficult.

And about Nuclear power plants, 3 plants are confirmed with Russia, Japan, US, China and France on board in varous projects, the construction of first one already started if im not wrong.

I was talking about the 19 billion $ nuclear project with Russia.I would imagine that scrapping that and starting from 0 would cause major headache and delays.

Sure it would but its not like the whole money is already invested, besides Erdogan said Russia already invested 3 billion, its not easy for them to withdraw from such a big project.

@BordoEnes shared a link where journalists asked the exact same question, erdogans answer was that Turkey could switch to another supplier at any given time, Toshiba promptly made a statement later that they would basically love to build another plant in Turkey, something along those lines, so all in all Russia has more to loose, but the delay would be inevitable.

This also shows that it was a smart move to choose many suppliers from West and East to diversify the possibilities for the worst case scenario i think.

Russia seems to value its friendship with Assad more than Turkey. I still don't think it will be in Turkey's advantage to make enemies with our neighbours, including Russia and Iran. We can't live sorrounded by enemies (like Israel's situation), that will make us a paranoid nation. We should be able to recognize the interest of other nations and try and make the best of current developments. Erdogan did a huge mistake by actively supporting FSA rebels in Syria, Assad's grib on power is too strong, especially with backing of Iran and Russia. We shouldn't play according to CIA plans but tread carefully - now we have a shitstorm in Middle East. This i call a big failure in foreign policy of Erdogan, even though i recognize his government's other important achievements.
