To be quite honest, this to me seems like a much bigger tragedy than the holocaust was.

No one tragedy was better or worse than the other for those who lived to see it far too close up.
The Nazis committed heinous crimes in their own country, and then in Poland, France and elsewhere. They took part then indiscriminate bombings where they did not have dominion. In turn, the allies committed all manner of crimes when Germany was near defeat, and ended up bombing indiscriminately; for example, the bombing of Dresden, only a little while before the German surrender. The Germans created hell in the Soviet Union, in turn the Soviets on their way to Berlin committed all manner of crime and rape through Poland and in to Germany.

The Japanese committed all sorts of crimes and butchery against the allies in Asia and against the Chinese. They in turn suffered heavy civilian deaths in the bombings of Tokyo and other major cities, of which the use of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was only a final chapter.

In the colonies, as bitter fighting ensued, men who were third class citizens were put right in the firing line to die for their Colonial ruler. To deflect some damage from the European countries themselves, and do some damage control, often where it could be spared, the hardship was deflected towards colonies. Examples of this exist everywhere from economic policy such as; trade, agricultural policy, market regulations to favour then Colonial homeland. Soldiers were just the face of it. A good example of crime in this regard was the famine of Bengal, manufactured famine to favour the British at the expense of millions of starving Indians.

This war was the farthest from the definition of humanity there is.

Sure they'll rise and Japanese too. The fire is put out but sparks are still buried deep under the ashes.

Unlike a lot of other countries, Germans have a more apologetic tone for their actions in WW2.
I haven't seen Americans being regretful over dropping nukes on Japan.

No retribution will come...if they're smart.Germany only acted out of fear in both WW and it lost miserably.If they're smart they would have learned their lesson by now and won't lash out against everyone around them,try to accept their role as a natural leader (at least in Europe),share that role with the other hegemons (UK,France,and, to an extent, lesser European partners) and never try again to bulldose the entire continent and try to subdue it by force.

4 million human beings died in Bengal famine. How is that crime any less than Holocaust?

Every one mentions the crimes of Nazis and tells tales, make movies about how bad Nazis were but the crimes committed by allies are either glorified or hidden and get almost no mention.
They have projected their image as peace keepers and world policemen despite the various "Holocausts " they did.
The Japanese don't have that guilt complex which the Germans have developed under allied and Soviet rule.

Every nation during WW2 has been involved in crimes against other nations. The worse part is, the punishment was a COLLECTIVE punishment. Anyway, morality is found no where in war or in conflict or in chaos. in 1947 partitions God knows what we have done to each other and from those, who were least expected. In a recent article I read, I think the new number of supposed Jews killed in the Holocaust was ~75,000. That being claimed by a Jewish Agency, I am unable to find the source or link though.

Besides zat, around 150,000 of the Nazi Army was Jewish. Ich doubt that zhey would condone to der killing of their people. There are also a large amount of Jews and Half-Jews who served as high ranking officers in the Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe und der Kriegsmarine.

There were "race laws" in third reich and a sense of Aryan superiority complex among Germans but the actual number of Jews killed was nowhere near to what has been told to the world. Hitler's secretary from 1942-45 herself said that she was not aware of killings of Jews(If there were such large scale killings then how come she did not know about that when she knew every political and military matter because of the place where she worked). The "6 million jews died" is as real as a donkey's horns. On the other hand, 4 million bengalis died in an artificial famine masterminded by "world's saviour " Winston Churchill. Perhaps these 4 million were lesser human beings than Jews.

It isn't, nor did I claim any such thing. If you read this very clearly:

In terms of numbers, the Bengal famine is as big as any other crime in a whole host of such events throughout the war.

This has been hammered into the heads of every child educated anywhere in the world. In Europe, it's hammered into every living being. In Germany, it is far more intense, the war guilt syndrome is very present even today, I've seen it first hand, people talk about the Nazis, WWII and Hitler to the extent that it annoys the hell out of some Germans when us ausländers discuss this with them, with the expectation that we're going to hear something new and original coming from a German speaking about it.

This is not the only crime the Soviets committed. For the Soviets "rape" was part of war. It was like giving a handshake that would last couple of minutes. They did far worse thing. They killed millions upon millions of their own citizens (and minorities) in the gulags. Crimean Tatars was ethnically cleansed too who served the Soviet army in the WW2. Before that Circassians were also ethnically cleansed from Caucasus and today there is an Olympic stadium on the mass graves. Neither Russians or Europeans talk about his. But at the same time Putin urges Turkey to recognize the so-called Armenian genocide.
