Breaking News Malik Ishaq head of LEJ killed

I'm sure many of them are against Ludhyanvi leadership, their is some sort of deep divide in them and they are using it against each other, don't you think? :enjoy:

Totally plausible...

Especially considering that the police statement on DAWN said "He was killed by his own men".

BTW, what's the story behind your username? Do you love chemistry or something?

Yea, doing my 3rd year and planning of Ph.D in any field related to Analytical Chem , Cis-trans just common name came to my mind during creating my I.D.

Malik ishaq was the head of PML(N) militant wing and was noon league target killer, Rana Sanaullah used him and now through him like a tissue paper (like soolat mirza) i think there was no police muqabla they encountered him and others, his two sons were in jail and supposed to be in jail at that time......

Nice.

I always hated chemistry, FSc main cis trans isomerism ka ratta lagaya tha! :P

That wouldn't be too off the mark if true TBH.

Just today I read an article saying that ASWJ has decided not to protest against the killing of Ishaq...and that they believe he was a terrorist and met his fate.

If there is enmity between ASWJ and LeJ then that is very comforting news, and thanks to Allah who placed enmity between them so that they may never unite and spread mischief on the land of Allah.

And i have heard somewhere that lifetime ban on ASWJ and its leaders is being discussed. Do you guys have any info about that matter?

:D F.Sc is bit boring as details of any topic are not involved. and teachers , Never answer about what is really happening here. once you study years of effort behind just a single theory, then you finally fall in love. :smitten:

Nhn...bari meherbani aap ki! :P

Chem is pretty theoretical, and theoretical things don't get into my mind pretty well. I like practical stuff more.

Each and every field have some chemical implications, advances in all fields depends on our researches, we suggest and other follow. Chemistry is most practical then any other field. :P Hamari University me to esay sari fields ka Abbu ji kehtey hn.

Violence erupts in Punjab as LeJ chief buried

LAHORE: Angry protests flared into violence at the funeral for Chief of the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), Maliq Ishaq, officials said Thursday, as at least two people were killed in an apparent reprisal attack on a police check-post.

Malik Ishaq, behind numerous bloody attacks on Shia Muslims, was killed in a shootout with police in the early hours of Wednesday, along with 13 fellow militants.

Police said violence broke out in Ishaq’s hometown of Rahim Yar Khan in Punjab when the bodies arrived for burial late on Wednesday evening.

“Protesters tried to damage a Shia mosque and private properties and attacked police with stones,” district police officer Tariq Mastoi told AFP.

Mastoi said police flooded the streets with around 5,000 officers and brought the disturbances under control.

Hours later, a group of around 10 militants attacked a police post in an eastern part of the province, sparking a gun battle that left two attackers dead and two policemen seriously wounded.

Malik Mansoor, a senior police official in Gujrat, said LeJ members armed with guns and hand grenades attacked the post apparently to avenge the killing of Ishaq and other senior commanders.

“One of the killed militants has been identified as Muhammad Mumtaz, who is a long-time activist of LeJ and was wanted in several cases of targeted killings,” he said.

Wednesday’s shootout appears to have wiped out much of the top leadership of LeJ, a driving force in a rising tide of violence targeting Shias.

Under Ishaq’s leadership, LeJ claimed responsibility for some of the bloodiest attacks on Shias in Pakistan’s recent history, including two suicide bombings in Quetta in early 2013 that killed more than 180 people.

Ishaq, who had been in and out of police custody in recent years, was arrested on Saturday and was being moved when loyalists attacked the convoy in Muzaffargarh.

Those killed with him reportedly included Ghulam Rasool Shah, a hardline LeJ chief who acted as the group’s leader when Ishaq was behind bars.

Wednesday’s killings were the latest blow to militancy in Pakistan, where in the past year authorities have cracked down hard on the myriad insurgent groups that have plagued the country for a decade.

The offensive intensified after Taliban gunmen slaughtered more than 130 children at the Army Public School in December.

Hey sir, I have heard that ASWJ itself is behind the killing of Malik Ishaq due to some internal rivalry and groupings among them and my sources are Noon league, Is that correct or they have some other agenda behind this propaganda?
I can only comment or speculate about what you have said.
but one thing is for sure. he is eliminated on the orders of Punjab CM Shabaz. he is a very hands on chief minister and he gives direct orders on such high profile eliminations

as for rifts within ASWJ are concerned I can only comment that. he like other high profile killers had become a living legend among the takfiris of Pakistan he was untouchable and invincible had personally killed over 100 shias including women and children and used to brag about it in front the judges the injustice of Pakistan in dealing with pests like him gave confidence among the terrorists to become a behemoth we now know as TTP which now spills the blood of everyone without the discrimination of age, faith or gender.
there can be differences among these terrorists but not to a level that they will kill their mass murderer like this them self.

Love a good Pulce Muqabla where the terrorist isnt given any ammo with his firearm.
I watched the dead face of that madrchod. I really felt peace for what he deserved decades ago

and prayed for all the victims of his cruelty and the lack of justice from our courts.

Are you suggesting that the CM ordered an extra judicial killing? I hope not, Sir.
