Lahore, May 27 (PPI) Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, who was to leave for Karachi on Sunday to offer condolence for those killed in May 12 carnage, was restricted to Lahore limits for three days by the Punjab government. Punjab Home Department issued an order that Imran Khan could not move out of limits of Lahore. Such an order was issued on the request of Sindh government, which last night had banned the entry of Imran Khan in the province for a month. Imran Khan however refused to receive the copy of Punjab Home Department order terming it illegal and unjustified. The PTI chief had left his residence for Lahore airport to depart for the Karachi as per schedule, however he was again stopped there. Imran Khan was also to visit Hyderabad and attend All Party Conference called by Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party. STPP chief Dr. Qadir Magsi had announced that they would escort Imran Khan to Hyderabad. I will lodge murder case against Altaf in UK: Imran Khan Hyderabad, May 27 (PPI) - Tahreek Insaf Chief Imran Khan has said that he would proceed to London on 9 June 2007 and lodge a case of murder of 45 persons against Altaf Hussain, “on whose orders innocent people were killed in Karachi on 12 May, 2007”. He was addressing via telephone from Lahore to an All Parties Conference, organized here on Sunday by Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party. The moot was attended by provincial heads of many opposition political parties including PPP-P, PML-N, ANP, PKMAP, Balochistan National Party, Sindh National Front, MMA and others. Imran Khan charged Altaf and his mafia had held people of Karachi hostage and they needed freedom them from this captivity. He claimed that the policemen who had taken part in operation against MQM during Nawaz Sharif and Benazir tenures were killed by MQM with backing of rulers. He also said that present junta was more loyal to Altaf and MQM than to Pakistan and its people. He called present rulers a security risk and asked the nation to get rid of them. I saw his recent programme on ARYI with interior minister of Sindh Wasim Akhtar, and i was surprised a totally un-professionalism from his attitude in politics and isulting party leader of MQM. Backlash will come soon from MQM.

He has been asked to leave Lahore in 3 days from the Lahore Government, however, this is all to do with protecting Altaf and not letting him get exposed more.

The last time these people were in Sindh they created trouble and it ended up in dozens killed.

Sindh government has all the justification it needs to keep the troublemakers away. If he wants to charge Altaf in London then that's fine. But a charge does not mean Altaf would be found guilty (of those dozens dead in the recent shooting).

Altaf wont ever come to Pakistan after this. The Judiciary has taken the decision of suo motu and Musharraf has said there should be no independent inquiry on the MAY 12 incident.

The Bhai league in trouble.

This is the seed to divide the society on the sect. basis.
Last time traitor Z.A.Bhutto divided our social fabric by alienating the Bengali's.
I wonder how M. Ali Jinnah would have reacted to such remarks.
Racism and promoting sectism is a serious crimes in west and Imran Khan should prosecute all such individualls in there respective states. Who seed hate which lead to killings and disaster.

What would you know about a dead mans perspective. Why don't you read a book about Mr Jinnah and his reactions to a un democratic dictator.

The man was convicted murderer and was senteced, to be hanged till death.
Similarly, all politicians are plundrers and murdrers and they deserve the same justice.
I hope I don't have to remind who is wanted by interpol, swiss court's ruling, killing of Mir Murtaza, Mr. 10%, surrey palace etc.
The specific book you refer to, must have been one of its kind and do you remember what was the title. If I read again a wrong book than it might not help the cause.

You have delusions, swiss court dropped the charges, the MQM murdered Murtaza, Mr 10% is fiction.

Murder of Mir Murtaza Bhutto will remain a mystery as will the murder of Syed Hammad Raza. Both these killings have alot in common.

But Ishrat ul Ibad was living in exile before Mush allowed him to return to country and become the governer.

To add insult to injury, giving the PML(Q) the chief ministership of the province forced the establishment to agree to the appointment of the MQM's (Muttahida's) Ishratul Ibad Siddiqui, hitherto a proclaimed absconder, wanted in eight criminal cases, with a reward of three million rupees on his head, as governor of the province.

IMO MQM is giving too much importance to Imran Khan. Let us face it, what is Tehreek Insaf. They have only one MNA, Imran himself. This action by MQM/Muslim League ( Q) Sind Govt clearly indicates our national pysche of intolerance. Who gains from this action but Imran Khan. We want democracy but we lack democratic spirit. Think Altaf Hussain should read Voltaire who said

"I dont agree with what you are saying but I will defend till death you right to say it"

More I look at the culture of intolerance in our country more I despair. I dont it expect from MMA, but I would have thought, MQM being a liberal/secular party would be more moderate in their behaviour.

It is true that MQM was a child of Zia, to counter PPP (not JI as posted by one member) but it is a political force in Sindh and whether we like it or not, any party who wants their support will have to deal with Altaf Bhai. Benazir did it in her first term and later Nawaz Sharif. If MQM were to withdraw support, both Sindh and central governments would fall. Politics make strange bedfellows.

I find Musharraf Bhai term also amusing. Musharraf may have been born in Delhi, but all his mannerism, including his urdu accent makes him more of a Punjabi. I also read Khuswant Singh column in the Hindustan Times. Sardarji is a self proclaimed lover of Urdu. I quote him below.

Quote

I was surprised as to how a person from a Delhi family speak such bad Urdu. Then I forgave him ( Musharraf). Poor guy has spent all his life in Punjab and no one murders Urdu as Punjabis do
Unquote.

I pride on my Urdu, if I ever have a chance meet Khushwant Singh, I will definitely show him!!!

Imran looks a hardened politician now, although despite all his efforts he has failed to gain the popular supports. I wonder how an honest person like him is still not having many seats in national assembly of Pak. Fault lies within society. Hold of landlords (Jagirdars, Waderas etc.) who controls the rural population which forms majority of Pakistan's population.
Another problem is, these Thekedars of the society themselves are characterless, but still they highlight his weak character in past. But when you listen to him you will find a totally changed man. Nobody remains sinful after repentence for past mistakes. He can be the most sought after person to lead Pakistan in future as he has all the abilities,e.g. changed Islamic thinking, to provide justice to the society, to uplift the poors economically, hard line against people who work against the unity and safety of Pakistan etc.
I think he was the most vocal to speak openely against the conspiracy of secularist Altaf Hussain and MQM to destroy the peace of Karachi. Altaf Hussain who have always talked against Pakistan's integrity and even against islam and formation of an ISlamic society in Pakistan. If he has all the daring then he must leave the country of his western lords and come back to Pakistan. Imran was right to call him a terrorist as his party is controlling Karachi by gun terror, by vote rigging and by using the criminal elements.
