New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit India's oldest mosque, Cheraman Juma Masjid in Thrissur district during his Kerala visit in July. According to sources, the PM will inaugurate the first phase of Muziris heritage project and he will be visiting the centuries old Muslim shrine. However, the dates are not yet finalised.

The Cheraman Masjid is the oldest mosque in India, built in 629 AD by Malik lbn Dinar, an Arab propagator of Islam and a follower and contemporary of Islamic Prophet Muhammad.

It is learnt that special branch officers have visited the place to enquire about the security arrangements.

What reasoning, how does population is related to nominal avg GDP. More population should translate into low GDP. Don't convolute the facts. If size alone matterd Russia would have the highest GDP and if population mattered China would have. . Keep the lunginomics to lungidesh.

You do realize that GDP per capita is GDP per person and even UN uses it to measure living standards, thus more GDP per person, the better the standard of living.

More Land = More resources or areas that can be utilized, build more roads, buildings, scatter the population and also use it for growing food and plants. Russia just haven't been able to utilize their land well, thus they have thousands of kilometres of land without the sign of a single person. And also, Russia is the world's richest country in terms of natural resources, $72 trillion in total.

South Korea and Japan have been able to develop their Industrial and service sectors and thus stepped into First World. Third World countries such as Bangladesh and India (yes, you are one) need to boost their economies through agriculture and for that you need land. Even First World countries use agricultural lands, the US itself is one of the World's largest exporter of raw food.
