Is there a SINGLE picture of FC-1 firing ANY Missile ? :P

DSI makes the aircraft stealthy as F-22, why do you think F-22 had it's first flight in 1997, while US had stealth technology for decades? They needed something to compete with the superior DSI technology China/Pakistan had.

Whole world is trying to create that stealth bump in the air intake, none succeeded so far.

CLAP CLAP Clap....

You rock Young-man.

But remember its not the machine nor the man....but who takes decision first.

Napoleon lost waterloo due to Delay of 1 Minute....

making it almost 1 ton lighter than the Xiaolong

JF-17 is 14,520 lb empty. Tejas is 14,300 lb empty. 1 ton = 2,000 lb. Tejas is 220 lb lighter than JF-17, not 1 ton. Article wrong.

Why didn't China induct a single JF-17...even though they are still using the Chinese version of Mig-21 (Chengdu-J7)??

J-7 is phased out by J-10B. JF-17 is too small to suit PLAAF's requirement.

The problem the indians have is called the Arjunk syndrome

For years and years and years they moan and moan about Arjun proclaiming how great it is, but nothing explains why the indian army refuses to utilise and induct in large numbers

Then suddenly we find out that its nothing but a heap of junk that is difficult to run and maintain

The same goes for the LCA the military have done their best to try and not fly this plane

It was started decades ago

Its a enormous white elephant

And they want to compare the flying version of Arjunk with JF17 a working fighters on the cusp of its first major sale

No engine, no nothing. Arjun and Tejas use imported engines, so not very good.

The article's summary says: In summation, the Xiaolong is the aircraft of today and the Tejas is the aircraft of tomorrow.

Can anyone decipher what exactly the author means?

I though an aircraft of 'tomorrow' would be 5th/6th generation! :rolleyes1:
There 's another article in sina claim LCA is crappy compare to JF-17 and yet the wantchinatimes pick this particular article praise LCA. Enough say.

LCA until now is still a fat overweight aircraft with low AOA and under powered compare to JF-17.

wantchinatime is as reliable as ummat newspaper in pakistan. why to waste time on articles from these source?????

It makes one laugh his head off. Tejas 1 ton = 2,000 lb lighter than JF-17 when it's only 220 lb lighter

Can fly with following loaded weight without compromising performance.
JF17 - 9100 kg
LCA- 10500 kg

Its been years and years of the same indian rubbish i remember in 2006 they were supposedly about to induct this flying lemon

Then in 2007
amd again in 2008
finaly in 2009
but really in 2010
then their grandmother got sick and they couldn't induct in 2011
2012 wasn't a good year astrology wise to induct
2013 was the ten year anniversary of the bbc article saying indian men had to use little condoms because they had little dicks, this made them sad so they couldnt infuct the LCA
They thought they were in during 2014 but they were premature, which is a regular indian occurrence

Now finally 2015 is the year and Tejas will absolutely be inducted and absolutely be awsome super cool maaaan:smokin:

What denial? Wantchinatimes operate by anti China idiot. It's well know to pick article suit its agenda.

The difference is that IAF wants FOC before induction and PAF inducted without FOC....

JF 17 was inducted into PAF without worrying about IOC & FOC
because JF17 is a low risk solution with off the shelf technology
and designed by chinese ie mature industry

while tejas mk 1 is our first, so had to go through a longer safer route.
but from mk2 everything will get inducted faster..
