HIT's advert in Army's official magazine of March 2015 Edition shows an IFV based on HIT's M113 frame. If this goes ahead into production, it will be an added punch to our armor formations. It features a turret mounted high caliber gun to fire AP rounds plus a small remotely controlled weapons station mounted on the side, most likely 7.62mm.

Depends on money. I seriously think we ought to have localised production for Turkish CLAW turret system ,buy surplus M113 frames in large numbers then mate then together into an IFV.

The M-113 is overdone, There is only so much that can be done with it. A better option would be to focus on a hybrid based on the older Chinese Tank chassis in current service.. much like the Israelis did with the Achzarit.

You mean the T5X and T6X that are going to probably be replaced by VT-4 should be stripped and turned into an IFV/ISV like the Russian Terminator?

Also, how hard is it for us to develop a turret system like the FNSS/ASELSAN CLAW in regards to cost/benefit analysis vis-a-vis getting CLAW under license production to hook on M-113s and the older Tank frames...?

Yup, they still have good life left in their frames which is plenty useful for an IFV.. or something like this which we really need

How many frames do we have in service/storage?
Do we have the capability design and manufacture it at home?

Thats the old Hamza IFV:

I would have cheered if they produced these instead:

Apart from a SPAAG gun... something like the "Terminator" should also be considered...
BMPT Terminator (old t-72 chasis being used):

P.S:Turks have developed "Korkut" SPAAG on their M113.
