Every other country is accusing another country of espionage. It's true that these devices can track users but it's very hard to prove, otherwise china is not one of those countries which will sit back and do nothing.Apple may say they never track users, but that is what they claim.
I'm with the Chinese broadcaster on this one.
USA is a voyeur, Edward is a hero. What makes you think other countries wont follow the same with regards to Huawei and ZTE?
Really ?US government employees are not allowed to use iphone or ipad. isn't that tell you something?
Really ?
US has such policy ?

Anyway, talking about broadcasters, what is going on with Rui Chenggang? I think someone should start a thread on him and the corruption that has gripped CCTV.
You didn't get what I meant. It is not about the "chips", as much it is about open market. Stop being jingoistic and think practically. China will need consumers to feed all the products it manufactures. Your are right, most countries dont have the technology at the moment, but there are alternative to all the products China manufacture. If China bans a Company like Apple from its market, USA will have to follow suit by banning Chinese companies from its market. And you can be sure that its allies will obey the sanctions. Think then what will happen to all the investments these Chinese companies have made in all those countries.Countries are sitting back because they don't have the technology to make their own chips for now. Countries like Russia nd China are depending less and less on foreign made chips for computers. China recently bulk manufactured its own chips for use in their HSR.
China is not India. Nobody is saying to ban Apple but the government can implement laws that government employees working in certain sectors cannot own Iphone or they can downright not buy their products for their own use.You didn't get what I meant. In short, realistically, China cannot afford to ban any american company without adequate evidence.
Now why did you have to bring India into this? Before it goes down the wrong way I'm out of here.China is not India.
