Why Chennai can't and won't speak Hindi

looks like sun rose from the west today

ya like chola said, this is sowcarpet.

How shameless?

Haha.,

yeah Hindi comes from Sanskrit which is the most scientific of languages.
Some languages like English,Hindi,German etc are scientific while others like French,Bengali and Urdu etc are suitable for poetry.
Best work I have read in Hindi is Premchand's prose. It is very powerful.
Munshi Premchand had studied in a madrassa where he was taught in Urdu and Persian. His works include both Urdu and Hindi writings. It is wrong and mischievous to term him an exclusive Hindi writer. In fact his Urdu pieces are rated higher. And that's about full stop for Hindi.

He takes himself too seriously . Sadly no one else does  .

These people are too obsessed with India while we have nothing to so with them.

They swing between extremes while we just want to maintain suitable distance from them.

Tamil nadus choice if they want to speak/learn hindi. Central govt will let them do as they want. We are not like Pakistan in 1971 where Urdu was made compulsory in east Bengal.

That's incorrect. Urdu was made one of the two state languages - the other being Bangla.

Like Sanskrit Hindi doesn't seem very prospective. In spite of all state patronage Hindi hasn't been able to produce a Ghalib, Zhouk, Bahadur Shah, Iqbal or Faiz Ahmed. India should revert to Urdu as the link language.

Bharatendu Harishchandra, Jaishankar Prasad, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Mahadevi Verma, Munshi Premchand the list is so long, now write you comment only if you idea about the Hindi language.

It is weird that these ignorant people should even make comments about something they have no idea of.

These razakars can't even belong to BD that gave them refuge, how can they even try to talk about India where they never belonged in the first place.

There is no place for traitors and treason anywhere.

Hindi is irrelevent and it is as significant as any other native language,

Indians should learn their mother tongue and any other language they learn should be out of necessity or out of interest...

why don't you get the percentage of Tamil speakers in Sri Lanka, Singapore and Mauritius, yourself and where they are located e.g SL

th

I gave two reasons to support Tamil, why you cherry pick only one- "oldest language" and not the other international reach ?

Tamil is also there on Indian currency notes on language panel.

You still didn't get my point.
Lets say a coin of 5 rs in English-Hindi-Tamil , a coin of 2rs with Punjabi-English-Hindi
Not all coins just some as a sign of gesture.

Your own Dravidian parties never pushed for such weird ideas.:lol:
