I should remind you that PVN was not a heavy weight and was a compromise candidate. So he did not exactly snub the Gandhis but then slyly took over the reins and rose to power. He deserves credit for that, but he did that when there was power vacuum. I am waiting for a strong partyman who can stage a coup against the Gandhis. Congress cannot survive without a central authority. Without the Gandhi family they are bunch of strongmen fighting each other. So it is very less likely to happen when the party only prefers loyalists for any position.
no doubt he was the best , bcz he had the guts to snub the gandhi's.
But still what he had done for the country except going to villages during elections and staying there a day or two. It is still early to predict anything about him before he joins any major state body or the govt. itself.
