Mumbai engineer Hamid Ansari missing in Pakistan

Lol... the men seducing part was from ur media ... which claimed tht a Pak police officer befriended an indian diplomat and got info from her... and yes again.. id say tht ISI doesnt use women because we are a muslim country.
So in a Muslim country it is forbidden for a woman to become a spy?

Shame there are lot of excellent women who are spies because people rarely suspect them.

Mata Hari - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spying has sometimes been considered a gentlemanly pursuit, with recruiting focused on military officers, or at least on persons of the class from whom officers are recruited. However, the demand for male soldiers, an increase in women's rights, and the tactical advantages of female spies led the Special Operations Executive (SOE) to set aside any lingering Victorian Era prejudices and begin employing them in April 1942.[citation needed] Their task was to transmit information from Nazi occupied France back to Allied Forces. The main strategic reason was that men in France faced a high risk of being interrogated by Nazi troops but women were less likely to arouse suspicion. In this way they made good couriers and proved equal to, if not more effective than, their male counterparts. Their participation in Organization and Radio Operation was also vital to the success of many operations, including the main network between Paris and London.

Mumbai engineer Hamid Ansari missing in Pakistan
A 27-year-old engineering and management graduate from Mumbai, Hamid Ansari, who went to Afghanistan in November to find a job, has gone missing in Pakistan.

His distraught family in Mumbai's upmarket Versova area fear that he may have been involved in a serious accident, may have been kidnapped by a terror group or arrested by authorities for illegally entering Pakistan.

Hamid had left for Kabul, Afghanistan, Nov 4 last year on a 90-day tourist visa. He had promised to return within a week.

He kept in touch with his banker father Nehal, college teacher-mother Fauzia, and dentist brother Khalid for a week and then disappeared.

"We have heard that he was trying to rescue a girl in distress in Pakistan, but we do not have any concrete evidence," Nehal Ansari told IANS.

"I have not given up hope. I pray that he returns. We don't know what has happened to him," his mother Fauzia said.

The lure of an airlines job in the operations sector in Kabul attracted Hamid after he failed to get a job with an airlines in India.

The Ansaris have lodged a police complaint with the Versova police station and have contacted the Afghanistan consulate in Mumbai.

"They were cooperative and provided us with Hamid's visa details to enable us to trace him," Nehal Ansari said. He added that the family have written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, state Home Minister R.R. Patil and to the external affairs ministry for help.

Soon after Hamid disappeared, the Ansaris made desperate attempts to seek his whereabouts in Afghanistan or Pakistan.

One of Hamid's Facebook friends told them that he had crossed the Afghan border near Jalalabad and reached Peshawar Nov 12, three days before he was to return to Mumbai.

His other friends on the social networking site indicated that Hamid reportedly tried to help a Pakistani girl avoid getting married against her wish in Kohat, in Karak region of Pakistan.

"It is our request to rescue our son. We only want to save him and return to us. People commit errors and if he has done so, we apologise on his behalf," Nehal Ansari appealed, apprehensive of a fate akin to that of Sarabjit Singh.

Singh is an Indian imprisoned in Kot Lakhpat Jail in Pakistan since 1990 on charges of carrying out bombings in Lahore and Faisalabad that killed 14 people. He says he strayed across the border into Pakistan by mistake.

He was recently attacked by fellow inmates in prison and is in a coma in a Pakistan hospital.

In non Muslim countries women are considered as capable as men in all fields and have equal roles and responsibilities. I will say that Muslim countries are not using the talent of 50% of their population by such notions.

Regarding the capabilities of Muslim women in a war like situation I can give you example of Razia Sultan who ruled Delhi

In Muslim countries we consider women as capable as men but the difference is we know how to respect a women..

2.You talk about women 's role in war so i can also give you examples of muslim women but spying and war are two different fields.

In spying the tactics are different as compare to war and please don't. say that spying is also part of war because it has worst consequences than war .Hope you know what i meant to say that.

What about all the women suicide bombers?

This is the most weirdest story I have heard in a while...went to Afghanistan, but was trying to help a girl in distress in Pakistan?

Illegal entry looks the most probable cause...and there is no proof that he is in Pakistan...
yup, but the indians don't get this. After all he can be a super man as well.

Mumbai engineer Hamid Ansari missing in Pakistan
Well, don't know where to start. Engineering and management graduate from Mumbai went to Afghanistan to get a job. Why?? Its hard to believe this.A person from mumbai going to find a job in Afghanistan. Why not shining india.OK fine.
Now he went to Afghanistan and was missing in Pakistan.I hope indians who travel to india don't start missing in Bangladesh. This is just so ridiculous.
He went on a 90 days tourist visa and was looking for a job.So was he's a tourist or somebody else.
How can he rescue a girl from Pakistan.HOW??? How in the world he can do something like this and that too from Kohat and Karak region in trible areas, tauba, tauba ,tauba. If he ended up there and that too after a girl it is very much possible he got caught and his body was ripped by bullets. Even us pashtoons get hard time going into those areas now a days, let alone an indian who has no idea of these places and its culture and can be easily identified. How can he go there. There are so many army and police check posts and even we get such tough time by these guys, asking for ID cards, checking cars, questioning us.How can he escape this and went all the way into my home town peshawar and then to Kohat and karak. Please i ll like to know this as well.So i can try.
How he was able to cross Pakistan-Afghan border. How did he travel all the way to these other areas. There is huge military deployment.
My indian friends please help me understand all this BS.

so on one hand some say he went for work in Afghanistan while others say he was "helping girl in distress"

smells fishy.....the fact that he simply went 'missing' means he may have been a spy and is under detention; either that, or the talebs got to him and are demanding ransom (which i doubt - because they usually are quick to contact the family)

bizarre story....ehh who knows

Went to Afghanistan on tourist visa for a job :what: these bharatis

i was thinking the same

it just simply does not add up
