That is true. India will use any and all methods to forestall transfer of the J-10s. Oddly, enough the F-16s are now seen as the lesser danger in Indian eyes though they are substantially better than J-10s. One can discern why.....

The whole F-16 vs J-10 debate is long going.. and I disagree with you based on first person discussions on people who have literally touched the aircraft.
but the issue with the J-10 or for that matter any new platform from those countries that are willing to sell to Pakistanis monetary and not the platform being overrated or underperforming.
 
First we should ask for return of our remaining 14 embargoed F16s with some upgrades or 14 new F15 paying some additional money instead to get old ones.
 
8 countries locally produce it. Why don't you start talks about it? It'll lower the price.
