I am opposed to this. Hundreds of millions of Indians are suffering from malnutrition, lack of access to safe drinking water, poor roads (due to corruption), poor public health services (again due to massive corruption), poor public education. We should not be bailing out the rich countries of Europe.

Indians are playing their part to avert a global economic crisis. 2 billion dollar is nothing but a token amount.

On the other hand if we can bring back the trillions of dollars of black money deposited in Swiss banks, the poverty in India will disappear overnight.

No matter how many you may loan to them or aid them. The problem is they buy goods from India, China, VN, etc. We keep earning USD. And they own us more and more. The only way to solve the crysis is to let them export more goods to us. Like high-tech equipment which we eargly need. but they won't, especially when US govnment crackdown Eropen countries and try hard to prevent them doing it. So where the hell can Eropen countries earn money? From USA? No USA is even worse now. Manufacturing insustry is not competitive at all in USA and Erop..How can they earn the money back to make proper balance of the world economy???? They only way is to let USD and Euro depreciate, trust it. They will do it, sepecially USA.
Do not rush to loan or aid them this money. Your country and our China will have huge lose soon because of the exchange rate of currency.
Obama successfully made the debt ceiling higher which means US is acting in the way like drinking sea water to stop thirsty!!
And for next step, we all know what they will do. Tring hard to reduce importing and boost export, protect demestic manufacturing industry. High importing teriffe....etc...
All countries except USA who can print USD will continuely suffer for very very long period of time.

we do not live in a well mate . if Europe collapses then it will affect the whole world too.
you cant say stop building airports till all bus and train services are improved . everything goes hand in hand . there are no full stops that only when such and such is done will i go ahead .

when some sort of a crisis arises,its the responsibility of world powers to help it.
india has actually boosted its global power image here. we have invested really heavy in african nations.
india even intiated the host of a conference of least-developed nations and has played their guardian's role in united nation by rising their issue.

look,when a problem arised,"india" was there to help. its a boost to our efforts to become a global power.
