Costly Electricity & Over Billing !!! People are unable to the Pay Bills !

For a lawyer or judge to be involved, there has to be a legal dispute. What is the dispute in producing a product that is so expensive that people cannot afford it? I can't afford a Rolls Royce; Whom should I sue? Before you say, "but electricity is an essential commodity ...", the electric companies will say if we can't recoup our costs we have to close.
corruption can be taken judicial cognizance of, but I am no lawyer

Probably a first step in the right direction by public to make the government think at least.

It looks like this time they will come after army as it has been identified as the true culprit.

Pehle Imran Khan logon ko nikal raha tha, log jalsay main jatay thay, and then they went home and abused the govt on the internet.

The day people really get out in the streets, no Asim Munir and no Kakar is going to be able to hold them off.

The govt is going to give the mother of all lollipops today by just saying that you can pay the bill in the winter, without identifying the actual cause of the issue at hand or tackling it. Yeh to caliber hai hamaray bureaucrats ka.

Nothing is going to change, NOTHING.

People need to pay for decades of voting for PPP and PMLN. Let the bills climb. People wanted the government to subsidize their lives and leave the debt for later generations to pay. When PTI tried to take corrective measures, it was cursed.

Well, now the later generations are here and they have to pay up. No more kicking the can down the road. No more opioids in the form of subsidies and overvalued rupee.

Now PDM protesting against electricity bills .................LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Some people can get solar panels but can’t afford the batteries.

I was going to say that.
Instead of promises of power stations by CPEC maybe a better promise is widespread mass handouts of solar panels for families.

Even in the US people would rather have solar panels and batteries than rely on utility companies which only want to screw them over.

Under Pakistani law you are still obligated to pay taxes and even some unit charges - even when you generate your own electricity at home through solar panels.

Saira Bano hit the nail IPP and capacity charges ... Umer Ayub explains IPP .

Don't worry the utility companies here pull the same shit. Only half the bill is for usage the other half is for maintaining the connection to your house...which you are legally obligated to have.
