Chinese ex-president Hu Jintao escorted out of congress

Very sad moment

I can read lips.

Hu: comrade Xi, you can’t treat me like that. You can’t throw me out of the door like a dog.

Xi: comrade Hu, your time has gone, you are an old man. Now I am here the king.

Hu's age is not the problem but Hu Jintao, Jiang Zemin, Jack Ma etc. have been triying to undermine China's interests by joining hands with the West.

They are anti-Chinese people who need to be neutralized.

Xi packed the top posts with hawkish leaders, the confrontation with the west becomes inevitable.

No.

West will not fight China.

West does not have any enemity with China.

The purpose of NATO was "to keep the Soviet Union/Russia out, the Americans & Chinese in, and the Germans & Japanese down.

In fact US & UK saved China from the Japanese.

Taiwan will be HK 2.0

There is nothing out of scope for Chinese when it comes to food. They eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.
Chinese prepare food from Gutter oil BTW
If consuming human fetus is acceptable, then sky is the limit

South Korea cracks down on human flesh capsules from China

(AP) SEOUL, South Korea - South Korea has seized thousands of smuggled drug capsules filled with powdered flesh from dead babies, which some people believe can cure disease, officials said Monday.

The capsules were made in northeastern China from babies whose bodies were chopped into small pieces and dried on stoves before being turned into powder, the Korea Customs Service said.

China help US win the war against Japan by pinning down half of Japanese troops and resources in China. in the beginning of Sino Japanese war US was actually Japan's accomplice, without US oil supply, Japan can't sustain the war in China for a couple of months.

The Japanese military machine was almost entirely dependent upon imported oil -- and that meant the United States, which supplied about 80 percent of Japan's supplies in those days.

US was not supporting Japan but was a little late in imposing the sanctions on Japan.

US was worried about economic impact on the US which was going through the Great depression.

US sanctions when imposed on Japan was what led to Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

US also came to the recuse of the UK in Myanmar/Burma to defeat the Japanese else Japanese would have attacked China from Southern China too

Later US also made a deal with China in the 1970s to weaken both Soviet Union and Japan.

Japan did not recover economically since the 1990s as Chinese economy took off.

Japanese war machine was fuel by US for the most part of Sino Japanese war.

US never had any ill will against China.

US trade with the Japanese was pure transactional.

US never approved Japanese war on China.

US was only worried about the economic impact as it was going through the Great depression.

Yet US took the hard pill to support China by imposing strict sanctions on Japan and paid the price of getting hit by the Japanese in pearl Harbor.

Same was the case in the Atlantic.

US did not join the war against Germany until UK & France have collopased.

The process may be different, the result is the same, and they were not the only examples of long serving government leaders either.

Yeah. There are both good and bad examples of long serving government leaders in history, so it's not an indicator of one's future performance.

I think what people wants to know more is how much power Xi intends to consolidate and via what means, whether is it within the constitution framework or not, and what he intends to do with all these powers he has amassed.

I will repost an excerpt from an article for the benefit of those who can read Chinese, because I think it's relevant. The article was written before the 19th Congress.

We will see whether Xi is able to institutionalize and legally define the powers officials have, with the power he have now to establish the rule of law. Or whether he's going for the Putin model.

This post was dated back in 2018. It's up to you Chinese to judge whether Xi is behaving more like Putin or LKY.

oh. will this prove that India's per capita food consumption has reached the level of China in the 1960s?

Lol you comparing Xi to Merkel and LKY? Both Germany and Singapore are parliamentary democracies. They have no term limits but both Merkel and LKY have to stand for a general election every few years, and more importantly their power is checked by the legislative and judicial branch. They can remain as long as their party gets the popular vote.

OTOH Xi doesn't even believe in the separation of powers, he wants complete obedience from all organs of state.

In this sense Xi is more like Putin; amending the constitution to further consolidate and extend their power.

And both Merkel and LKY stepped down at age 67. Xi is already 69 this year.
I heard for the first time that "Singapore is a democratic country". lol.
