This speedy process is also somewhat related to Turkey's geopolitics and position. This is the main reason why Turkey was able to reach this result without stepping back from its national interests. As of end of 2021, the common belief about Turkey was that it was getting closer to Russia, and was also experiencing a political break with the west. However, while Turkey never concealed its ideal of being a balancing factor in its region, especially western policy makers and the media could not remember how they ignored Turkey's national security and interests until the Russian threat shook Europe.

I don't know if this marathon of RTE will expand over meeting with MBS at an Eid prayer. Sounds like very fake news to me. This does not mean that the talks between the delegations between the two countries do not continue. Saudi Arabia is among the countries where diplomacy traffics are intense behind the scenes at the moment. We have reached a certain stage since last year. Even if the claim is true, I would prefer this to be in a more formal format, such UAE or Israel.

mm yes freedom of speech in turkey the highest recorded journalists in jail are in turkey. This isnt opposition. an Opposition figure lets say theres a new dam being built, he opposes it now he should study it extensiveley and by his logic determine if its right or wrong, then he should either talk about it in a talkshow or in the media or write a complaint to th egoverment about it with providing a soloution. Opposition in egypt doesnt do that they only critcize and even lie about ANYTHING the goverment does even if it is right. They fabricate videos and call for the islamic reveloution at day while sleeping with their lover at night. Freedom of speech doesnt extend to spreading false news and creating a social divide. When they get arrested they run for turkey or britian where they collaberated with the intelligence agencies there and broadcast their show from turkey. They work for intelligence services once they are used up they will be thrown out .
