What's the story? Why would the french airforce wear Thunder patches which too are in Pakistani colours only? It doesn't seem photoshop either... so?

No it can't be a thunder their is no split air brake as thunder has my guess is this is mig 21

Well spotted. Only reason why I thought it may have been Thunder is because of its airbrakes. Upon closer inspection of the Thunder, I realized that there are no protrusions for the airbrakes.
