Serial production hasn't stopped genius, even the article you quoted mentions Mk1A which itself will be inducted post 2020, whereas Mk1 is currently in serial production.

Also, Tejas was formally inducted into the IAF back in 2016.

DRDO has established India's second GaN foundry at GAETEC lab in Telangana. First one is at IISc Bangalore.


DRDO BFR and BFSR are the first Indian radar with GaN based QTRMs.

ADTCR uses GaA based technology and not GaN. QRSAM's BFR and BFSR are the first indian AESA radar with GaN based QTRMs.
