Why Turkey is in Europe&Russia forum nowadays?

I suppose someone need to rename forum to "Europe, Russia, Turkey" or stop posting all Turkey threads in the forum. No offense - jus for the sake of accuracy.

I say there should be EU section for all things Europe that would cover also Countries entering the EU, Russia and CIS section and a Turkish/Turkic world section everyone will be happy and a win win

Turkish forum here is unfortunately filled with Erdgan and Islam haters. They run the show here but represent a tiny minority in Turkey. Thinly veiled atheist worshippers of Ataturk, they just can't stand anyone who brings out their extremist agenda.
It took many years to get this type out of the power corridors in Turkey. Don't know how long it will take to get them out of PDF.
Really, they all want to be white Europeans so guess till we get rid of them they belong in the European section

Erdogan does not represent all of Turkey as well besides there are lot of pro Erdogan folks on the section most are are just neutral

Turkey and Russia straddle two continents Asia and Europe or we can say these are two Eurasian countries. Fitting them in EU is not the just thing so these should given a special section.

Agreed. But here idiots don't understand the reality. This forum attracts mostly such people... even from China we get many mindless anti-Islam, anti-Pakistan ultra-nationalists with big mouths while we know that majority of China is pro-Pakistan

Most people are apolitical in real life very few are interested in politics Chinese folks are some of the most apolitical people I have met and you would meet to them its a waste of time they rather make money as for Turks I say its 50/50 spilt even the most ardent Kemalists have no issues with Pakistan and in fact the Nationalistic Turks are the most anti western of Turks they just want Turkey to be modenized state that is respected and is a power

That's what I was refering to it's only sub set of population who has an interests in politics,millitary and geo politics asides most folks here are for the politics very few are here for millitary related stuff @Indus Pakistan @GlobalMillitary96 could agree as well

Decision was made due to couple of reasons including that 1) Turkey is also part of Europe & NATO (does not belong to M.E) and secondly, Turkish Strategical discussions can be posted in EU section for better analysis as compare to mudslinging in ME Section that faces mostly the troll fest. Only Turkish Political & Strategical discussions are now allowed in EU while Turkiye Defence threads will remain in respective section.
