Forget JF-17, just days after India's fighter jet Tejas gets its FOC after some 30 years of roller coaster tests and trials, the Indian defence minister claims it to be at par with Sweden's Gripen aircraft which has been in operational service for over 20 years.


 
Yes, the LCA Mk1 is on par with Gripen C/D. And the LCA Mk1A will exceed it comfortably by a significant margin.

That's all? I thought the LCA was on par with the F-35 and F-22 as per indian claims on PDF.......8-)

On par with Gripen said no expert ever aside the Indian media....

Only Indians know the capabilities of both LCA & Gripen.
