In Jammu Hindus and Sikhs make up the majority. Muslims hold a slight majority in Ladakh, but overall Muslims in Ladakh(mostly in Kargil) are pro India and provided Indian soldiers with information during the Kargil war. Also Buddhists make up the majority of Leh district.
