@mohammad45 bro can you please explain what does it mean
Imam Hosein's (AS) اربعین ?
Arba'een

Arba'een (Arabic: الأربعين‎‎, "forty"), Chehlom (Persian: چهلم‎‎, Urdu: چہلم‎, "the fortieth [day]") or Qırxı, İmamın Qırxı (Azerbaijani: امامین قیرخی, "the fortieth of Imam") is a Muslim religious observance that occurs forty days after the Day of Ashura. It commemorates the martyrdom of Husayn ibn Ali, the grandson of Muhammad, who was killed on the 10th day of the month of Muharram. Imam Husayn ibn Ali and 72 companions were killed by Yazid I's army in the Battle of Karbala in 61 AH (680 CE). Writing in forty batches[clarification needed] has become a tradition among Islamic scholars.

The reason is the famous saying of Muhammad: "On the day of judgment, among my people, God will consider whoever memorized forty Hadiths as an erudite man". In this regard, numerous Islamic scholars have gathered precious collections that each consists of forty sayings, Hadiths, quoted from the prophet and the following Imams. According to al-Jizzini, the primary martyr, he, too, has written his book Al-Arbaʿūn ḥadīth to practice this narrative of the prophet. Arba'een or forty days is also the usual length of mourning after the death of a family member or loved one in many Muslim traditions. Arba'een is one of the largest pilgrimage gatherings on Earth, in which up to 45 million people go to the city of Karbala in Iraq.
It included mostly Shia then Sunni pilgrimages and Christians, Yazidis etc in minority visitted Imam Hosein's holy shrine in the Arbaeen day.

Thank you so much bro.
We should commemorate his sacrifice and rejuvenate our faith and make a determination that we will follow his teachings throughout our lives. I have seen people who participate in such celebrations and are very emotional but they do not learn anything from his blessed life. He prayed salat till his martyrdom and never missed a single prayer but I see people missing prayers easily... really sad.

Very well said bro.

Imam (AS) said, انی احب الصلاه. Means i love prayers. Unfortunately wrong traditions exist, i know what you're talking about bro. And you are right in that case.

@mohammad45 brother thanks a lot for tagging me. These pictures have charged me emotionally. Especially the Pakistani flag. InshaAllah I'll travel there next year and carry my flag along.

View attachment 436077
Once you get the meaning of this narration you'll understand that flag of Ya Hussain is source of unity amongst Muslims ..

@tirdad

Sorry buddy, but Imam died for Islam , not for himself ... and Islam is Greater than Imam Hussain and Hasan R.S , even bigger than our Beloved Prophet Muhammad Pbuh ..

Too much "Saint preaching/adoration"... isn't it againt Islam?? ;);)

Excellent photos, but I cannot make out all the flags. Is there a written list of countries and the number of participants each contributed?
From what I could see there was
Iran
Iraq
Egypt
Syria
Lebanon
Palestine
Algeria
Kazakhstan
Russia
Belgium
Germany
France
India
Australia
Turkey
Azerbaijan
Georgia
Canada
Sweden
Malaysia
Indonesia
Pakistan
Afghanistan

I don't believe they take nationality surveys in Iraq so you would be hard-pressed to find definitive numbers.

That is quite the list, to be sure.

Amir ol Momineen is Only Imam Ali A.S. and no one else.

it is not possible to stop people from what which is Not sacred. People abuse Musharraf and Zardari too.

All our Marjas says do not do that since it is irrelevant but still some gangs do.

Thats according to us. For our Sunni brothers, all four caliphs are termed Amir ul Momineen, considered honorable and the best among the companions of the Prophet.

I think issue that is we all staunchly believe in what we read in our books, hear from our learned and considered that to be only truth, when the matter of fact is that neither one of us was present during those times. And since that is the case, it is utterly foolish to lambaste any historical personality until his/her evilness can be clearly demonstrated. This is definitely not the case with the first three caliphs. We Shia might have different opinion regarding the choice of the Muslim leadership after the Prophet (and that is what Imamate/Caliphate is all about), but it should not lead to the cursing of personalities venerated by the fellow Muslims brothers under any circumstances. Basically, this is not the way of the Prophet and his family.

Also, as far as the Shia historical references are concerned, it has been clearly mentioned that Imam Ali never drew sword against the three caliphs, helped them when ever asked and always gave them good advice for the benefit of Muslims. So do the people who bad mouth the caliphs want to be greater shias than Imam Ali.

Will you stop comparing now please? I don't even find a requirement for comparison here. Who is above who. That feels really idiotic.

Wish to visit soon ... Ya Hussain AS

Precisely why i hate “extreme shia clerics “”
when imam ali never drew a sword against them who are these people to utter bad words against sahaba RA ..

Hold your tongue. Don't be disrespectful and start comparisons in such an idiotic and foolish manner. Learn something about Islam before you comment.
